I'm trying to figure out. If I have shingles and for me it starts out Super itchy like crazy itchy. But then the blisters come, and I can't scratch it because it hurts. Does anyone have this experience?

I have it on my face. I did get some prednisone and that has helped with calming it down. I suffered before I went to the Doctor yesterday. I had just a pain in my sinus area. I thought I had a sinus infection. It looks real bad because it's on my face on the right side. They are painful but not too bad in my case. I know a lot of people have a hard time with it. Not everyone though. Go to the Doctor if you suspect you have the shingles. It might not be shingles. Some skin cancers mimic shingles. Just saying. Be safe not sorry. It does not compare to my gallbladder attacks. That was the worst pain I have ever had and you know what it is if you have ever had it. I had to have mine out it was so bad.

Am 70yrs old Andi have shingles start 08/11 is 09/07 I still have the pain I took the medicine from the doctor. It doesn’t go away. Mine is in my left leg and it’s very painful
Idk if you ever tried adding quinoa and corn. But it makes it really good. I’m not even vegan. But my grandmother would make vegan chili for my dad who was vegan when I was younger. She had quinoa and corn in hers. It was delicious

I just made this this afternoon I didn't have the bulgur I had quinoa my jalapeno was quite spicy, so I added less than a tablespoon of brown sugar. It's perfect, I will make this again.

I had them in October 2013 and still have the pain, mainly when I'm standing, especially in one place. Here it's August 2023 still have the pain, it damaged nerves in my up back on my left side. I when to the hospital thought I was having a heart attack, and showed the doctor at the emergency room my back and he said I had the shingles, and it can make you fill like your having a heart attack.
Freezing the tofu first helps it absorb the marinade so much better. It absorbs sometimes too well especially if you want to use some of the marinade as part of the sauce. 😊
I realize that the alcohol in the stout would cook off....BUT, as a former alcoholic, I do not buy alcohol anymore, so....my question is: what could you substitute for the stout????

I've always said your videos have the best production quality (presentation, music, editing, etc.), and most importantly the best recipes and tips, along with your honest, humble, friendly and approachable delivery, and I like this new format. I know how much time it takes to prepare these recipe videos for us - it's a lot of work. This quicker streamlined approach was very good and delivered the content perfectly. I've never liked the "shorts" so prevalent on RU-vid these days. Just too quick and impersonal. This seems like a great compromise between a time consuming and extensively edited presentation (as much as I loved those) and the "shorts" so common today. I liked it, and just love to see you posting again 🙂 PS: Your early videos were instrumental in helping me get started on the WFPB path and encouraged me along the way. You are an important part of my journey to health and well being. Thanks Chuck! Keep up the great work!
Very interesting! I have been microwaving corn for decades but never knew the pushing out from the bottom trick. I cut off the excess top and bottom of the ear (the parts without kernels) and then nuke for 2 minutes. Then let sit for a few minutes to further (gently) steam, and the silks peel off pretty easily. But I will def try the cut off the bottom and push out technique next time.
