I am sorry to say that your first 2 recommendations are EXACTLY what I did with my travel trailer - same brands & everything. Within 4 hours of putting them on, my trailer was gone. The security cameras showed that it took the thief less than 10 minutes to break the locks and leave with my trailer. I encourage everyone to NOT use that Master brand ball mount lock! You may well regret it. I sure do!
Hi TJ & Red, this Al & Jane. Not sure if you remember us but we met you all a few times. Any way we are wondering if you ever did a follow up on this video and if you and/or NuCamp were able to determine what caused this issue! We have a 2020 Tab 400 Boondocker Lite and we are seeing the same issue. This may no longer be covered under warranty to get this fixed, but we are trying to determine what the issue is and figure out how to proceed. Hope you see this note and provide us any information on what caused this floor issue. Thanks!
Hey there, we do remember you guys and the pup (Cesar?) as well! In the end they told us it was a problem with the adhesive, we had the floor replaced 2x once at dealership (horror show) and then we took it to Nucamp. The sections of floor were cut out and new floor panels were added and then a new vinyl was put over the top. The downside is they cant get the bathroom out, but the res of the interior t was pulled and flooring put under. BUT the edge near the bathroom wall was cut well and sealed with silicone so down the road maintenance may be warranted. Contact nuCamp advise of the issue and you maybe surprised how helpful they can be. In my opinion take it to Ohio for the fix as it is involved. Cheers!
Thank you TJ & Red. Based on your video & others with similar floor issues, we reached out to NuCamp and asked if they would be willing to repair/replace our flooring for us at no cost. NuCamp has given us a claim number for us to schedule our flooring rebuilt. We are very happy & relieved with their response. Thank you and others for sharing your story with us. Was just there 2 weeks ago for the first time. I think they needed to build that lookout tower a couple flights higher so you can see over the trees and down into the valley/gorge below, kind of like what was done at Timm's Hill.
Excellent video!!!! One of my fave hangouts. The mansion boat tour rocks but you have to climb up steep stairs. Yerkes Observatory is across the lake and wonderful to visit! Also the rustic Snake Rd outside of downtown. On a side note the library was designed was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and worth visiting inside
Rustic pies are better. Since Betty's was taken over by someone else, it has gone downhill😢 A couple of the really good restaurants in Grand Marais have burned down. 😢 It's pronounced Grand Ma-ray.
Actually, according to google, there is a tide change in Wisconsin 2 times per day though most do not know or see it. I'm sure my confusion in the video was just having grown up on the Hudson river and living by the Gulf of Mexico water changes always seem to cause my choice of words to say tides or tide changes. Thanks for the correction. we cant edit it out of the video but when we return we will take note and correct the error.
How is the noise level? We've stayed at a few resorts in Florida. Most are next to major highways and the traffic noise is loud. From the map it doesn't look like it's close to a major highway. Florida resorts are usually in populated areas and you can't avoid the noise. Some noise is tolerable.
Alt 19 is very close but all in all the noise was never an issue for us. Do keep in mind we have lived most our lives in the shadow of NYC so noise is every day thing, so we may not be as "tuned in" to it.
So did you do all the tours and the fun things to do in Munising? Or only the things that you showed us? Just curious, because in my option unless you are going to do them all you can’t really say top five things to do🤷🏻♀️ just saying
Where did you get that custom cushion you install in the dinette around the 9:45 mark? We are getting a 23FB International and would like to set it up as a lounge just like you do!
The center cushion in the video is specific to the Globetrotter trim level, in the International you use the two back cushions from the dinette (the ones by the windows if I remember correctly) Hands down the Globetrotter dinette is the most comfortable in the 23 foot trailer options, in our opionion.
Don't go on a Saturday night. It's filled with 20 somethings who come over to get massively drunk and obnoxious. It's a Go-To place for Bachelorette parties. They all walk around..really drunk and screaming their "Whooo-Whooo" war cries, while the bride carries a 2 foot inflatable penises....or penis squirt guns and shooting people. The guys get so drunk their vocabulary is down to 'Dude...F@ck..Bro"...and not much else.

We do not own this unit as video was a tour of the floor plan. A review of the only set up we enjoy. And for our education what sort of testing would you recommend and what equipment would be needed to accomplish this? Are there known issues with air quality we should be concerned about? I love to visit capitol buildings while traveling. i have seen eight so far, but for some reason have not been to the one in the state I live in lol! Sometimes they aren't in very exciting cities. Thanks for the tips. I am going to Denver soon and am planning a Golden day.
The outer banks are a great adventure but it’s a whole different world out there. You are basically in the open ocean on a sandbar so there is nothing to slow down the wind. There is a reason the native Americans never lived in permanent settlements out there.

The 23 ft is the perfect size to get around anywhere, short nimble and just perfect for 2 people for get away trips. We feel it lacks in a comfy spot to relax and that "wide wrap a round" window feel of the 25ft models. It is a long story "medical issues" etc...do to Cobalt poisoning that put us back into a 23ft. but..... We just hit the road for a huge trip of 10 months and we did not want to do it in the 23, so we are back in a 25 FBQ Flying cloud. This is the perfect size for long life enjoyment on the road.

Good video and you hit most of the high points but you left out Grand Portage and the Gunflint Trail. Also, it would help if you adjusted the audio some. The narration was pretty quiet but the gulls and the usic at the end were much louder. I had to turn my volume up to hear and understand the narration but when the other things cam on it about blasted me out of the chair. BTW, it is nicely ironic that the winery is in Temperence.
