I would rather thrift then do almost anything else in the world. So reselling is the perfect fit for me. I’m fortunate to have a work from home job that affords me plenty of time to put towards my reselling. Everything I have learned was from other resellers. New to reselling? I would be happy to answer any questions I can.
I’d also like to tell you that I am not young. So many people say, I am X amount of years old, am I too old for this? No! This is for everybody who is interested in it. Let's do this together.
@@esmelovesvintage thanks, I think that sweater it’s just amazing! It’s amazing that things you can find after other people have already been in the bin.
I can do basic repairs, but this is beyond me. And since it’s belted and I have the belt it’s not that big a deal. You just tighten the belt and don’t need the elastic.
Thanks for sharing this haul Elahnah! I really wanted to thrift St. Louis - and happy to see what you found in your brief visit to the bins there. I am traveling with family right now and haven't stepped foot in a thrift store - the FOMO is real🤣 Safe travels👍
The Unoriginal Ideas hoodie is really unique - it would have caught my eye as well. I hope it sells well for you. I am noticing more garage sales popping up in my area lately - I am going to make it a point to check out more of them this fall👍
@@KellyShaffner it’s still pretty hot here but at least not going much over 100 and it is cooler earlier in the day. So I’m optimistic. I look forward to seeing what you find at yours!
I have that exact same train case by Wheary. It was part of a 3 piece luggage set from S&H green stamps. I got it as a graduation gift from my Mom in 1970 and took it to college. I've had it ever since. I loved it because it would take most full size bottles standing straight up.. Yours is in really great condition. Mine is well-used and beat up but I still love it!
Thanks for your entertaining education!! Oh that sea turtle wristlet is toooooooo cuuuuuuute!!! Sell it!! I’m happy your travel bag makes you very happy 😃
@@esmelovesvintage I might eventually group my little change, purses, and try to sell them together or I could sell it for a few bucks on Facebook marketplace. For now I’ll just hang onto it.
O! The orange leather jacket is really sweet! Is there such a thing as a NON Elton John Fan? Lol! Love that Tee! My mama would've loved the turtle coin purse, she collected turtles. I am right with you concerning sourcing plus size fashions. I finally admitted that I am not very good at it. I purged most of my Plus size inventory and I am planning to check sell thru rate before adding to my stores in the future. I always enjoy your bins hauls - and this one did not disappoint 👍
@@KellyShaffner A part of being a success is knowing where your weaknesses are. I love Wilson stuff. They had an outlet store a few miles from where I worked in Burbank and I used to go there all the time. I found this exact jacket listed, but I have not found an orange one so I’m going to shoot a little bit high on this one. Thanks for watching!
I love your bin hauls , I have yet to be brave enough to go to the bins but I will eventually! I am not very good at picking good vintage items so i just stay away from them , I love kids Patagonia !Have a great week🎉
@@almasthriftsandflips there’s nothing scary about the bins, don’t listen to people. Patagonia actually has that jacket for sale on their website in there resale section. They have it listed at 62. It smells a little scented so I’m trying to get that out but it’s so hard to get that perfume smell out.
@@zoechat1750 I remember that. I threw them into a bag filled with sandals that are not going to get listed for a while. Have to get all this winter stuff up first.
Great haul! Check into the firefighting boots as far as safety in handling them; I'm probably overthinking but I've been hearing a lot about the danger of PFAF chemicals used in fire-resistant products.
@@doriiannucci2477 I haven’t thought about that. My concern was that used firefighter boots would not be up to standard, but they would still be good for every day. I do see quite a few of these for sale.
The Docs are wonderful. They are such durable shoes - I think you will be safe wearing them for a year & listing them next year. You always seem to find the coolest western boots. I am so happy to be sourcing for fall and winter too! 👍
Those Marni boot are AMAZING. I like shoes with interesting heels. I agree with Kelly’s comment about going into various department stores like Nordstrom, Von Maur, etc. It helps me understand what items are in style and also teaches me some brands to keep an eye out for. Great video!
@@zoechat1750 tempted to keep it, though I have absolutely no reason to do that. I have recently started drinking my wine out of a similar Tumbler, a Rae Dunn. Finally a wine glass I cannot break!
Good Morning Elahnah! I am loving the shoes you found - worth going out in that heat! I browse shoe stores on the internet to keep up with current shoe styles. Experience shows me that older styles will sell if they are made of quality materials - but hey might take longer to move. I think you have a really good eye with footwear. The Marni boots are wonderful. The Vivien Westwood shoes are unique and I bet they photographed beautifully. Good Luck with your sale! I never run sales but I think one day I might. I am coming to the end of a year long purge in my stores - so I can relate to your thoughts on downsizing. 👍
I love hard goods!! And I think your hair looks cute and wavy! Fun video as always and you make me chuckle 🤭😃💖💖 take care and have a fabulous week! 💯💯💰💰👍👍
@@esmelovesvintage yes I know you’re more of a hard good person. I haven’t listed that set yet, but I think it’s pretty cool, I’m almost tempted to keep it. You have a fabulous week too! How many more days to retirement??
@@TheStressedReseller I had somebody wanting to buy the vintage Eddie Bauer, but I wasn’t ready to take that much of a discount off my asking price so soon. I just sold one pair of those sketcher Y2K vintage Oxford on Depop! That’s two pair of sketchers on Depop in two days. Yikes.
Happy birthday! And I love the brown Skechers. I sold some similar ones, and discovered in my research that the Skechers founder was part of the Doc Martens team, and broke away to start Skechers. 1990s? I dont remember details, but it makes a lot of sense, when when you see some of those early Skechers.
@@leahgalleria I had no idea. Is that Mark Nason? I know he was with Skechers and now does his own line of shoes. All the older sketchers that I have I’ve listed on Depop and they get a lot of attention. I’m definitely going to keep buying those when I find them. Thanks for watching and the birthday wishes!
@@Elahnah.Reseller Idk but I've sold Mark Nason too.. All I remember is going down a rabbit-hole to learn that, and that the ones I sold were very Doc-ish... It's been a couple years. I see them occasionally, but some seem prone to dry-rot. Vintage shoes make me nervous lol
@@almasthriftsandflips i’m thinking, with a little luck, that bag might be my best flip ever. In one of the Facebook group someone just posted the exact same one in a different color and she sold it for 325 on eBay. So now I have to cross list it there.
