Sweet baby jesuz the fact they used an obscure Gibson body guitar as their signature just blows me away! The hagatrom me ght be better but Gibson needs to throw some funds at these swedes for such originality and elevated musical experiences
Son adictivos es una banda que como los escuches por primera vez ya no dejaras de hacerlo y cada vez te gustarán más maravillosos ghost y su líder tobias forge larga vida pata la banda❤❤❤❤
I discovered ghost after my divorce in 2018 and the band and their songs gave me new courage to live! Thanks to Tobias and the Ghouls, I will always be grateful and love you for that!
@@Otessarcasm, I’m aware that lore wise, Nihil started in in 1969 😭 it’s just funny when it’s like “oh yeah they’ve been about since 1969” and people just go along with it
The last solo on If You Have Ghosts is such an awesome Ghost moment. The solo is stellar but in this live performance, it's slightly flubbed at times. It's such a charming blemish and because of that, it is individually distinguished from the studio version solo while being exactly the same. Even the mistakes and the staggered success in fixing those mistakes on the fly, add so much color and character to the solo. Think about it like this. When you solo on the guitar, it's a moment of complete improvisation. Not everything you play is going to sound like gold. You're going to trip up and make a mistake. But it's not about falling; it's about getting back up. There's confidence and enthusiasm and vigor. Playing a picture-perfect copy of the solo in a live setting is just a pantomime of the real honest music. There needs to be moments of improvisation, to capture the essence of the solo that was made in complete improvisation in the first place. I don't know, I'm pretty stoned right now but I love this era of Ghost and can revel in the music until I die
I'm sorry yall ik you hate the Ghost fans that are like 'old ghost was better' but help me I saw Ghost for the first time in Nov 2014 in San Diego with my dad when I was 13 and they used to be my favorite band of all-time. I even have the Papa Dollar from the Meliora tour that they shot from a money gun (idk if they did it on other tours but yeah). I used to love this band more than food and water but I just can't get into the last two albums. Can anybody make me a starter pack of new Ghost songs that will help bridge the gap for me? I know it's a big ask but it seems like everybody in the world loves this band now and when I loved the band, I wanted nothing more than to talk about Ghost with my friends. Tl;dr what is your fave Ghost song from the new album
Do you mean IMPERA? There's a reasonably wide range in there, it really depends what you enjoy from Ghost. I'd say if you can manage it, idk when the movie comes out for streaming or whatever but definitely give it a go, the flare of the performances will hopefully draw you back in. It might help you get a little attached to Papa Emeritus IV too :) I'd also definitely recommend The Future Is A Foreign Land. From IMPERA, my peraonal favourite is Spillways, Respite on the Spitalfields second. I hope you can enjoy IMPERA sooner or later!!
@@orthogalaxen yooo just wanna say i took a good amount of time on impera and prequelle, and they're decent! i have a much higher respect and adoration for the direction they're going in, but idk.. the first 3 album run was like a star wars trilogy to me. the new ghost albums are like, star wars prequelles? which i still enjoy but in different ways. nothing can beat the original trilogy amirite
Why did Tobias Forge have to get stupid like this? He had something great in the very beginning. A great look, great stage presence, great songs. All gone now.
My 1st intro to Ghost was 'Ritual' which was a random recommendation on Spotify whilst looking for rock to listen to. I was hooked instantly. I love it when discoveries are made like that 😀
Beautiful song! When I was a "little rocker", here in the Italian countryside, we would never have been able to rehearse dressed like this! I wanted to be naked..😊 but in Sweden it is possible😊
Every time I hear Year Zero (which is often!) I think of the story of that album being recorded in Nashville and they bring in these 3 big cowboys as choral session voices, they look at the lyrics and say “We ain’t singin’ that!” 😂☠️😱😈
@@manuelfelipegarciaacosta8800 well I cannot vouch for it but I have heard it and since I know it was recorded in Nashville, I can certainly believe it 😂🤣
I was in to KISS when i was young and ventured on to other music after Dynasty but in my later years i have looked back and realized for me there is only one album i still listen to on a regular rotation and that is Dressed to Kill. Great songs and it really sounds better than any other record with out being over productive. Great record.
@@Anonima-1819 *It became highly Radio friendly and commercial after the pandemic, also, IDK if is because of the mask but Copia's voice sucks, it is way too nasal.* *P.S: There is not "they" is just Tobias with hired musicians, it has always been like that, Ghost ain't a Band, Ghost is a musical project.*
