3:38 That was a missplay. Ob only triggers once for the same 1 dmg instance. both damage happens at the same time. Ob reads "Whenever ONE OR MORE OPPONENTS". also missed lethal with curio and diabolic intent for dockside to loop orc and dockside lol
Really glad I got to see these games. Brian is a very good player but he is no god. Seeing someone so much better than me learning and make mistakes just due to lack of experience is a good reminder that no one starts good.
@@narutoandbleachrules almost ALL tourneys (there are a few small exceptions) allow proxies. The proxies just have to be original art. IE: you couldn’t print dockside extortionist and use a picture of your cat instead of the original art on the card… that wouldn’t fly. Also something to keep in mind is that almost everyone in CEDH would encourage you to use proxies, especially when starting off. We want to play against your skill level in piloting a deck…. NOT your wallet. You can purchase expensive proxies but I would honestly suggest printing them out yourself or at a local “office max” type of store. Cut them out and then sleeve them with like a basic land card behind the cutout to add strength. You should be able to print and sleeve a $6,000 deck for like $50 or less. Then as you progress you can start to add real versions of the card if you want to flex on your buddies 😂
Mike had the win earlier when he casted finale for 6. He could say 3 trophy mage basalt. Or he could exile ranger captain and give plus one plus one and sacrifice a creature
12:28 How is that less king making than denying the person the spell. He had no outs, yes for two of the remaining players it is better, but for one it is considerably worse. That's some casual logik with "honorable death"
Screw cedh. Cant get any insight into deck building cuz they end before turn 5 and they arent even fun to listen to cuz the games are over in 5 minutes
Is there a reason for J Rock in turn 1 not to first play the Mite, pay Rhystic, exile it, to then cast Jewled Lotus and Eldamri without giving Spuki any cards at all? Anyways, nice commander choices. I don't see Eldamri and Thrasios/Cisco that often.
J-Rock here… lol You’re absolutely correct. If anyone was to listen to the raw footage of this, I for some reason figured that out halfway through the turn and I profusely apologize to the table for my mis-sequencing😂 Spuki still would have gotten two draws but I could have prevented the third.
@@backonthestack yeah, a lot of groups say that, but I believe you guys are genuinely invested in your community. You guys being real on spelltable is proof of that.
