Hey, I’m Leane, first time mum to Isabelle, who is more commonly known as Babybel. We’re new to all of this; motherhood (me), the world (Babybel) and RU-vid (both of us) but we’re planning on becoming your new best mum and baby friends. As a new mum, I’m just making it up as I go along and learning on the job, which seems to be standard for most new mums! I figured it would be nice to share what we’ve learned, especially during these strange times we’re in. We’ll be talking about what works for us, what doesn’t, the best tips we’ve learned, and products we use, along with documenting how we grow as a family. We truly appreciate every single subscriber, view, like, and comment. So if you like what you see, please leave a comment letting us know. And don’t forget to subscribe, we’d love to have you as part of our family.
We have a paw patrol lover over here too. We're going to do our first proper birthday party next year. Might do these bags if hrs still into it next year 😊
Oh man im glad youre talking abt this. Hooe u get support idk if i csn go through with this tbh every pregnancy video i see scares me more 😅 At least its almost over right? Hope everything goes well for u❤
Hi, on the topic of breast pads I would highly recommend the ‘Elvie Catch’ milk collection cups; they are silicone, reuseable, easy to assemble. Sit in your bra very comfortably and in my opinion discreetly. Please research this yourself but when I purchased my set you could ‘collect’ 1oz of breast milk leakage for upto 3 hours and then tip this out to store in the fridge - not only keeps you dry but prevents precious breastmilk going to waste! I really hope you consider this option as you wouldn’t believe how easily 1oz’s add up (in my experience.) I thought they were amazing. Just not suitable for night time / lying flat, but you would sterilise them overnight ready for the next day. Please let us know if you do purchase and use these, I absolutely loved mine. Wishing you health and happiness in your pregnancy and beyond 💜
Hey lovely, don’t know if you know but depending on what travel system you have, other car seats can fit. I was the same as you and didn’t want to use our Ickle bubba car seat again so bought the Britax babysafe core which uses the same adapters. Just something to hate in mind because I have found because we are constantly in and out of the car taking Chester here there and everywhere having a car seat that fits into the pram has been really useful and I actually am dreading him Growing out of it 😅 x
I had a Moses basket for my first baby to sleep in rather than a next to me and she didn’t outgrow it till she was 7/8months and she was a bigger baby . Might last you longer than you think 😊 Xx
It’s started to look good now most of the walls have been plastered and new windows in, soon you won’t know there was a fire but of course you will always remember but, in time you won’t think about it so much and finally have your dream forever home I really want a paint sprayer you can’t really go wrong with them, looking forward to the 5 months after the fire x
Thank you ☺️. Most of the burned bits are gone now, which is such a relief. It's amazing how different it looks with that all gone. Hopefully in the next update I'll be able to show you some completed rooms 🤞xx
The progress you’ve made is amazing! ❤ you should be so proud of yourselves! It’ll be a real family home very very soon. Not going to lie, I love a freshly plastered wall 😅 it just looks so smooth and lovely. Looking forward to the next update Xx
Thank you, we're finally starting to see the light at the end of a very dark tunnel. The feel of a freshly plastered wall is lovely too. The hallway is probably just going to be plaster for a while as I don't think we'll get that painted before the baby arrives, so I can feel that every time I walk up and down the stairs 🤣xx
Love your name ideas! I’m on baby no. 2 as well, a week behind you (I’m a few weeks behind watching this) We have struggled with girl names as we already have a girl as well (no idea if baby no. 2 is a boy or girl). Our first is Isla, we were dead set on that name and we’re convinced we were having a boy (didn’t have any boys names 😂) and then Isla came along ❤ This baby I’m convinced it’s a boy again and think we have a name if baby is a boy we need a girls name too 🙈 It’s so hard as I work in child care too and you get put off so many name 🥴 X
Sorry, I've only just seen this comment. I love the name Isla but one of my friends has a little girl with that name so we went with Isabelle instead 💖 I really struggle with boys names 🤣. I'm glad you've managed to come up with something you like, although how you can wait so long to find out is amazing. I'm sooo impatient! I bet you meet some lovely children and parents that put you right off certain names 🤣xx
How bad to see that house in that bad way a a fire it is so sad to see how can a horrific fire like that start it I couldn’t b it when I s the damage to the house I am glad that you poeple are ok and I am glad you guy are c ups it s s to see
I just had my first daughter 6 months ago, and I find myself packing up clothes she’s outgrown like every other week 😭 I keep my favorite newborn onesie on my nightstand next to me 🩷 how sweet it is that you get to unpack those and your baby on the way gets to wear her sisters baby clothes 💞 you get to make more of those precious memories ! 🤍🫶 wishing you a healthy and safe delivery ❤️
Time goes by so fast, doesn’t it 🥹. I love that you keep the onesie where you can see it 💖. Thank you for your lovely comment. Enjoy all those snuggles with your precious baby 😍
So sorry for what you’re going through at the moment. It’s a lot to deal with for anyone, let alone being pregnant. Honestly, you’re doing amazing and the best you can under the circumstances for your little girl. Hang in there, this will be a distant memory one day. Better days to come ❤❤
Oh you poor thing, I feel so sorry for you 😢 You seem to be having all the bad luck at the moment but I promise you it won’t last forever. One day you will look back on this and realise how much stronger it has made you. As long as you all have each other, that’s all that matters. I really hope your sugar levels get under control soon and that the nausea stops! Baby will be fine wherever she is as long as she has you. Sending lots of love and hoping that you have some kind of support network to help get you through this tough time ❤
Ok I'm a 54 year old guy married to a 43 year old woman and she's about to turn 44. You absolutely SAVED ME and gave me some of the greatest ideas! I thank you THANK YOU so much for creating this video and putting it out there. I'm a little shocked there are no other comments. Thanks also for the links. Also, I'm an American and I love listening to you talk. That accent. <3
@@BabybelAndMummy The funny moment I had was clicking on your Amazon link and going to UK Amazon and wondering why they couldn't ship that lamp here to me in America haha. Just had to go to my usual Amazon and search for it. :) I'm happy that a Google search for "what the hell am I going to get my 43 year old wife for her birthday" took me to your video! haha
@@MarcRiley-sf4gwthat’s so annoying it didn’t take you to the US version - I’ll need to look at my settings as it should take you to the relevant one 😬. I’m impressed that search term took you to this video! Google seems to know what it’s doing 🤣
@@BabybelAndMummy this can be the case with specific types of fire , based on the burn type and subsequent residues . It’s a terrible situation and I’m glad it’s now resolved for you even if not done as fast as hoped
I’m so glad something has started happening at your house. Well done for getting on at the insurance company, they need pressured! At the end of all of this, you are going to have a beautiful house for your family of 4 ❤
Aw, bless you all! That is awful! I absolutely despise insurance companies and the length of time they take to do anything! I hope they compensate you for everything you have lost with their tardiness X
