Madrimov was all feints, poses and posturing, but few punches. Crawford was the one who was punching. Before this fight I had always respected Sergio Mora as a commentator, but he got this fight all wrong. He was crediting Madrimov with punches that were scored by Crawford. Porter was the only one of the three who was calling the fight correctly.
Through four rounds of this fight, Madrimov looks like a bigger version of Jeff Horne. I think Terrence was curious and unsure of how his power would translate, but if they had a rematch, we’re talking about a fifth or sixth round knockout for Terrence Crawford.
This is the guy that would beat Canelo?? 🤣😂 Bud will get murdered by Canelo. Then his riders will say he was too small. Bud hasn't the speed or power to concern Canelo.
I don’t know I wouldn’t say Madrimov won the fight it could have gone either way, but I felt Madrimov did a lot better than everyone else thought he did. I wouldn’t say he won the fight but even a draw would have been reasonable in my eyes. both of them didn’t do enough in my eyes to have me believe that they were in control.
I didnt expect madrimov to be such a tough opponent for crawford..here at 18:36 you see crawford slip & fall down, most would say the floor was wet or he just went off balance.. but a real boxing analyst will tell you its the footwork & technique of matrimov that made crawford slip & fall. And oh boy, that right hand of madrimov was landing all night. Its almost like crawford had no answer for it.
Watched the full fight and Crawford didn't do anything special and looked old. Madrimov took the night off. This didn't help Crawford if he was wanting to be seen as an exciting must see champion. Instead of being head and shoulders above he was just boring like Spence and Haney.
