Multi-instrumentalist originally from the Philippines moved to Hampshire UK. Doing gear demos and reviews. Mostly musical instruments and gear but at times I demo and/or review household appliances just for the fun of it.
Just bought this lekato wireless page turner and found it easy to configure once paired to Bluetooth its great I'm using it with my apple ipad while learning songs off RU-vid you just tap your foot and I have it set to go forward or backwards 5 seconds at a time its good for going backwards saves having to swipe your ipad to go back so your not leaving your instrument all the time 😀
They are not entirely the same but got lots of similarity. The rp90 is upgrade version a bit more expensive. But you can get ideas from my video on rp55.
Acoustic for me as a medical term is a bout hearing like the acoustic nerve or pertaining to auditory part of our being. But to your question as sense of hearing or derogatory term, I think it pertains to abnormalities in behaviour. But for us in terms of music like acoustic guitar or the natural reverb of the room, then that is what we mean by acoustic music.
I just learned from it just now when you asked the question and I googled it. But it really never occurred to me that way. Coz I always use the word acoustic for acoustic guitar or acoustic drumkit. Thanks for the info.
And here’s another one. The vox BC108 speaker can vs DIY Laney 10 inch 30 watt speaker cab ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YLN9UO-xons.htmlsi=w68aSL_g2-0dY6ry
@@vincentryanborres I'm not a guitar snob or anything but I bought a 2nd hand Sub Zero mini stack (5w valve head and 2 speaker cabinets). The Sub Zero cabinets (older model blue vinyl) each have a 10" have (green back?) Celestion speaker in them, cabinet model G110, speaker G10-30 on speaker. I'm currently fixing the head as it has an annoying hum hence checking out alternative heads should I not find out why head is humming (great sounding head apart from hum fault, 5w valve louder than 5w solid state) 🏴
@@user-or4hs7xq9u thanks for sharing this. Yeah that’s really true that wattage are different in terms of loudness by valve vs solid state. I can have a 50watt solid state but the 5 watt valve could be as loud or even louder. I will look that subzero. I was actually planning to buy that or the Harley Benton speaker cab 10 inch. And then I was looking at the Bugera 5 watt or Harley Benton 5 watt tube. But when I saw a demo of the Orange Micro dark, it’s hybrid, not full on valve but seems interestingly loud and sounded good as well. So I’m gearing towards it. I will find videos first of the subzero that you mentioned and then will decide later which one to go to. Again thanks for the tip!
Unfortunately yes, it changes the tone and cuts the sustain. I don’t use it often only on certain patches that I use when recording direct but when I’m playing live and using an amp, I don’t put this noise reduction because it cuts the sustain and even if it’s noisy, during live gigs it gets drown by the drums and other instruments as well as the crowd.
I’m so sorry, I sold this guitar already so I tried looking online for the dimension and couldn’t find any. Wanted to help you but I don’t have the means. Hope someone here can give you the answer.
Sorry I lost the patches coz I always edit my zoom. And I forgot to make videos about it. Normally I record that’s why I made this channel so that I can go back and look for the patches I made. Anyways this is the one that I managed to save it’s for the Strat but I think it’s should also work for tele Zoom G1Four Sweet Strat Lead Tone patch settings ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fWtWRc8fLYo.html
It’s the same with this one. I didn’t save this patch. Most of my RU-vid shorts are just random patches. Mostly with my jazzy tone, I just roll the tone knob of my guitar and I just use reverb. Then if I need a chorus effects I just add it. For the amp sim, I either use the UK30 or FD and then sometimes I add TS Drive to boost it. Hope this helps.
Oh so sorry about this one. Hopefully someone here can help you with it. It's because I haven't encountered this problem before. Plus I think Zoom is making this effects pedal obsolete. They don't sell this pedal anymore so any updates, repair, etc. Im not sure how to help you.
Sir there is an input and output interface in the guitar pedal so my g1xon input interface when cable is inserted fully it does not sound but only sounds when the cable is halfway inserted to the interface Could you please help me out.
I think it’s the jack that you’re using. It’s should be mono jack cable. Have a look on that guitar cable if it’s got two rings, then that is stereo. You need a mono jack which has only got one ring. Google it and look for mono guitar cable and compare it to a stereo guitar cable. The other term for it is TS jack vs TRS jack.
Yes, link in the description. But this video is long time ago so I don’t know if the link still works. It was only shared to me. drive.google.com/file/u/0/d/108BOTfEUJIJreEPllZcyKYSqe72QIP3N/view?usp=drivesdk&pli=1
Hello, I would like to know how it is possible to mute the sound when using the metronome function. Thank you in advance for your response. Kind regards, Stéphane
It does. The other issue I found is that when the power outlet is slight low voltage, the unit fluctuates past 12 o clock. This happened to me a couple of times. Mostly it’s ok. At first I thought it’s the speaker cab but I think it’s the main socket that’s got problem. It’s a bit sensitive. If any consolation, even though the vol level is only at 12 o clock, it’s already loud.
Hi, great video, you are a zoom expert and I wanted to ask if there's a way to assign the pedal to wah and volume, like have it always as volume and when pressing the toe switch down it turn to wah?
There’s a factory problem with this pedal. The button of the expression pedal doesn’t come in contact so you need to remove one of the rubber underneath because they put two. In my case coz I didn’t know this at first, I stick a cut plectrum underneath. Here’s my video about this and it’s on counter 6:37 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tP2W6udqDfs.htmlsi=aKRUlA4Dk7-1TCTD
Once you managed to sort the switch of the expression pedal, all you need to do is add wah in your effects chain. And you can turn the wah on and off. And here’s my video if you want to assign the expression pedal to other functionality ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AXYAtG69Xu0.htmlsi=RKHh58QnNVeJXkDs
@@vincentryanborres yes thank you, I solved the wah button problem from the start, it works perfectly already, but what I want is to be able to have the pedal as a volume always, but when I switch on the tow switch, for it turn into wah, is that possible ??
@@eduhudtwalcker oh ok. I’m sorry. I think this unit Zoom G1xOn can only do either just wah or set as volume. It can’t do both. Another solution is to buy there donner or sonicake volume expression pedal
@@vincentryanborresok that you, that is exactly what I needed to know before actually spending money and buying volume expression pedal or wah volume pedal, I have my eyes on a Caline Volume with boost stereo and use that mainly for volume and the Zoom for wah and other control with the rocker pedal, thank you for your time, great videos, you rock!
It's on the description. But I can share it here with you. Just search UMC22 on the search bar when you click this link. www.behringer.com/downloads.html
Anyone know if the original Huanyu one is the best battery model? Shop I went to change to Unicell a few years back but feel the lifespan didn't last that long.
I’m not sure as well coz the one I bought was just a replacement battery from Thomann and it’s seems ok for me. It’s been years since I replaced it and it still works ok.
After using it for a long while, I think my major issue with this pedal is that there’s a delay when changing patch. I didn’t notice it before because it’s the only pedal I’m using. But now that I’ve tried quite a few pedals/multieffects, I can really sense the delay.
It only works as on/off for Left footswitch and then the Right one is like a cursor to right. So you can choose which effects you want and then turn on with the other pedal. I think it’s like if you got a TS Drive or diist or OD that you want to turn on keep that cursor on that one so can turn on and off with the other pedal. Then with songs that you want delay then you can change and put it on the delay or chorus and just turn on and off when needed. The other way to do it would be if you got zoom G1xFour. Then you can use the expression pedal and assign it at chorus or reverb and then on stomp mode you can use the other pedals for different fx assigned.
And another useful way of using the foot pedal to assign a function and will work like a stomp option: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AXYAtG69Xu0.htmlsi=qLBFvgWKPo4X1G9M
Pwede sya pero di ganun ka-user friendly. Bale press mo yung enter twice para sa edit mode nya. Tapos ang cursor to L and R ima-manu mano mo syang select kng anong effects ang gusto mong i-on or off.
