Since you got your week create, what have you done specially when it comes to cylindrical things I have a Glow Forge. I’m legally blind and I want to get a week but my question is do you feel that it’s worth it compared to the highest price tag of a glow forge pro that I currently have, please if you could thank you so much
So far I have been enjoying my WeCreat. I love the HD camera on it so you can see that material you place in your machine on your computer screen. I have not used a glow forge. The WeCreat is my first laser so I can’t compare to others machines. I do find the WeCreat to be very beginner friendly.
Welcome to the Cricut world. First connect your printer to your computer- follow your printer setup instructions. Then follow your setup instructions for the Cricut and try the first project that was included with your machine. Then start by learning one project at a time with your Cricut. Print then cut would probably not be a good first project. Try cutting some shapes out of cardstock or vinyl to get the hang of your Cricut. Here is my beginner design space tutorial which will help you navigate Design Space ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NbiyCwB5rWE.htmlsi=eH_4AbTqjB9vY7Qj Then scroll through my list of RU-vid tutorials and watch one that interests you and craft along with the tutorial, pausing as needed. Happy crafting.
CapCut on PC is incredibly useful for video editing. The interface is user-friendly, and the editing tools are powerful, making it easy to create professional-quality videos. It's a game-changer for my projects!
I noticed this video was made about 3 months ago. I am just now learning how to use design space and my toolbar is now on the bottom instead of the left side and there's not as many options. Is this a new update maybe?
You would need to first print your image through design space so your page has the registration marks on it. Your Cricut will not know where to cut without them.
Disclaimer: I dont recommend doing this with new mats. This method is for older mats you want to bring back to life. Some soap works well but heavy degreaser soaps may strip away all stickiness. Test this method on one mat before trying on all your mats. If you’re not able to get them to be sticky again - it’s time for new mats.
If you’re doing print then cut you can make your fronts any colour. If you are wanting your Cricut to draw out your letters with pens - it will draw the outside only. I have a few videos on how to fill text you can check out here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VZ2Wyk1HnhY.htmlsi=ZiZbuOLkFjijt8OO. And here is another one but requires more work ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0frXoOu7NDE.htmlsi=tpJReld0ZBEqBU4N
Any Cricut but not the original Joy (as it doesn’t have print then cut capabilities). I saw in another video the lady said if you are doing multiple layers you need to use heat when done? I was so confused i didnt thi k it was necessary for permanent vinyl
Definitely not necessary. I know some people like to use a heat gun over top afterwards if putting the decal on a cup but if done for too long or too hot it could melt the vinyl and cause the glue from the vinyl to melt around the edges. If putting decals on cups I recommend waiting 24 hours before using them.
In this video I just used regular copy paper but you can print on what ever material will feed through your printer. Here is my Print then Cut playlist with many other print then cut projects ru-vid.com/group/PLPIwi88Dy-OxZPioA3PkaNso-_rncV3XQ&si=ifaNfIyeP6gNHOHP
@@littlecraftnest What do you mean by regular copy paper? Do you mean a regular bond paper? I tried putting on my mat and it was a disaster my paper stuck to the mat and the marks did not come off. Could it be because I used the mat that was supposed to be for the fabric?
@Myredeemer1004 Regular white printer paper on a light grip mat (blue one). Turn your mat upside down and peel the mat off the paper - not the paper off the mat. Here is a more updated print then cut video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z2XfelG1OuU.htmlsi=p-6BKOzPKiJqaY4n
thank you so much for this video, i just bought my first cricut, i used to be a silhouette user, and this video help me out so much! I would love to see a video of how to make my own cut settings, this because i live in mexico and its really hard and expensive to get cricut materials, so i would love to know how to cut third party materials. THANK YOU again for this incredible video :)
You’re welcome! I’ll glad you enjoyed it. Here is my video on how to make your own cut settings ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2UGIzKJyank.htmlsi=F_1-dNzs6neA6adm Happy crafting!
I agree with the other comments here. You definitely did an excellent job breaking everything down in design space. I also appreciate you going at a slower pace which also made things easier to absorb.
Oh my, you are an excellent teacher. I had watched a few tutorials and yours was by far the easiest to follow. I'm feeling more confident using the Design Space platform.
You could but be cautious, if any of your ink transferred onto the mask and then you use it on another project that ink could transfer to your new project.
Thank you for this video. I was dodging the work of making text cutouts for my business, and now I know everything I need to know to make awesome cutouts. THANK YOU!
You can print on any material that will feed through your printer. Double sided tape probably won’t work. But you can print on sticker paper and printable vinyl. What are you trying to make?
I just bought a cricut a few days ago, and I have searched dozens of times, in different wording, and watched at least 50 tutorials trying to figure out how to do this exact thing. Whenever I explain what I wanted to do, I couldn't explain it right.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!! You explain it so simple and easy, and it is so easy for me to do in the software. THANK YOU!!
You’re welcome. I’m glad it was so helpful. If you’re looking for more Cricut tutorial on something specific let me know and I’ll try to point you in the right direction. Happy crafting.
This was a great video! Thank you. You wouldn’t believe how many people “teach” without giving location directions. 9upper right corner, etc). Really well done and I got the information I’ve been searching for.🎉
Yes you can. I demonstrate this in some of my sticker videos. Here is one you can check out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yTzPxnA4jQs.htmlsi=0l7-kdyN-pUwC9-t
I've just received the mini and your tutorial makes so much sense and it has boosted my confidence. I had previously tried the holographic htv on a canvas pouch with a home iron and tried putting pressure along with moving motion which resulted in the htv moving and leaving glue around the htv. Once again thanks for this turorial. Will use the minimore efficiently
If you plan on just making stickers I would recommend the Cricut Joy Xtra. The first Joy that came out does not work with print then cut so make sure it's the "Joy Xtra". Here is my affiliate link for it cricut.pxf.io/q4JdzN. You can also check out some of my sticker videos here with this play list ru-vid.com/group/PLPIwi88Dy-Oz4AY7phRD4ZN1Dfnj6SwOM&si=3R8oiZCF4W77Bvnk Happy crafting!
This tutorial is great! I want to buy the Cricut Joy extra, but I still don’t understand the printing part. Do I need a special printer to make full color stickers? Please help me, I would love to start soon! Thanks!
I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial. For stickers you can use just a regular colour ink jet printer. I personally use an Epson Eco Tank but whatever printer you have should work just fine. I have a number of sticker tutorials on this playlist here ru-vid.com/group/PLPIwi88Dy-Oz4AY7phRD4ZN1Dfnj6SwOM&si=RINa9asVLsK7oBHy
Your printer only needs to be connected to your computer, tablet or phone. You do not need to connect it to your Cricut. What type of error are you getting? What material are you printing on?
