I'm going to watch this over and over and over again to try to see what Penn and Teller didn't see that one time, but I don't think I'll see anything but awesome entertainment! Great performance!

I remember seeing this live and close up last year. Amazing routine, and the type that makes you just want to sit backa nd enjoy the story being told instead of trying to figure it out.
There were 2 times I noticed the coins coming through the fabric. It was very obvious. Another time I saw him replace the coin in his hand by hiding the first and revealing the second. It looked like a pretty normal trick. I don’t know why they didn’t call him out on his helper under the table or the hidden compartments. I guess since he performed it well they wanted to give him the award?
There were definitely moves I knew he was doing but I couldn't get a glimpse of a mistake to call him out on it. Plus I couldn't do that myself even if I tried, haha.
Penn said it exactly how i would have said it. very smooth and clean sleight of hand, those coins literally seem to appear and disappear right before your eyes and no sleeves make it even more respectable and then there's also the paper and whatever that creamy custard stuff is
