Hmmm … that is a good question, we have not had ours do that before and we’ve tried a few! Almost washi tapes are heat resistant up to about 150c but I’m wondering if the one you used wasn’t and that’s why 🤔 Are you planning to resin or varnish over the top?
I am new to polymer Clay earrings and came across your videos. I appreciate the time and effort you put into creating content for us. I know it takes a lot of time from preparing the tools and supplies to the recording and then editing process. It takes a lot of thoughtfulness to put content together and you do so effortlessly. Please keep your tutorials coming. There’s a lot of people who greatly value and appreciate it.
Thank you so much 🥰 Yes, you don’t realise how much goes into making a 20 minute RU-vid video, it’s surprisingly about a days work! 😅 We really appreciate you acknowledging the effort it takes ❤️❤️❤️ Don’t worry, we will keep them coming! We love clay and teaching! ❤️

Thank you 🥰 the crackle texture you get is from rolling the metallic leaf on. If you don’t want any texture just rub the metallic leaf on with your finger, if you do want the texture the roll it on with a roller. The more you roll it the more of the crackle texture you get, so it you want it really textured then start with thicker clay and roll it thinner 😊
so how do you handle your oven temps as mine is hotter in the back of the oven than it is on the front of the oven. I tend to come back after a while and spin my pieces in the oven. Do you have a technique you like to use?
I am lucky in that the oven in the studio heats quite evenly. My oven at home though definitely has its hot spots 😅 I actually only bake on one side of the oven for that reason. Is there enough room to pull the trays forward? Some ovens certainly make baking tricky!
Thank you so much, it’s little comments like this that inspire us to keep going 🥰❤️ it is definitely a lot of work to keep it all going, but lucky we love what we do!
@@myclayco I aspire to have my own channel someday. Not the same type of channel as yours but I’m still scared. 😆 I hope I can do it sometime in the near future. Keep on doing what you’re doing!
@@emschrader418 don’t be scared! And remember you have to start somewhere - we still aren’t pro’s but our videos have improved A LOT since our first one 😂
