Proper misdirection messes with the audience head regardless if they know the secrect, Including me and tricks ive done for decades....That's all the audience is after. Misdirection is the high everybody is chasing....not the secrect. Ironically misdirection is what's lost in modern magic but its the foundation of our art. Chase misdirection not the secret.
