I actually just started with charcoal a few weeks ago. So I understand! The biggest thing that helped was getting good quality charcoal and learning the techniques, I'll link the pencils in the description for you. And If you watch the long form video you'll see the techniques I use. :D Keep drawing and you'll get better!!
Wow!!!! Kayleen!! These are outstanding!! The hair!!! You do detail!! And thr fork..interesting, I love how you use your tools!!! Absolutely incredible!!! 💯
Thanks for giving the tips about the different types of pencils! I've never known what all the letters meant. What tool did you use to create the white spots in the eyes and the hair lines over the brushed charcoal? Is it some type of eraser pencil? Going to try to get some start up gear and want to know what I will need as a beginner.
Wow!!! It's incredible watching the portrait comes to life!! I loved your use of blending and shading! Would you be willing to make a video or list somewhere of the different tools a beginner would need to purchase to try to get started using charcoal? You're inspiring me!!!
I love it! fun to watch you draw with charcoal! Love how it turned out. Your shading was awesome! Especially found your white charcoal pencil to be interesting. Great job sis!
One thing that I've noticed about the ceramic pans if you have to cook with them on a lot lower heat than you're normally used to and because of the fact that you cooking at two high heat it ruins the pan fairly quickly as far as being non-stick I'm still trying to figure out how to make it non-stick again but I will definitely say I had to turn the heat way down and that helped a lot
I see so many people wasting their time with the ceramic coated aluminum pans that claim to be non stick. Buy the cheapest ceramic pan and a good STEEL spatula that is very strait on the leading edge...not a curved edge but a VERY strait edge, spray the pan AND the spatula with non stick spray, scrape those eggs out as needed. These cheap pans only last at best one year, so stop babying these things around and treat them like they are cast iron because they need to be replaced once every year or two anyway. And dont fall for the latest greatest NON stick cookware...you KNOW they will begin sticking in 6 months anyway. So buy the cheaper pans and get to cooking.
