Men and women are equal but not the same. They are physically, physiologically and psychologically different. Allah has not willed men and women to be the same because they complement each other. They are partners and mutual helpers. While women are responsible for the good upbringing of her children including inculcating IsIamic values in them, men are the providers of the family. Whether we like it or not, men are stronger than women, both physically, psychologically and emotionally. Men can control their emotions better than women. Just look how women react when a close member of her family dies; she yells, cries and even faint, but men do not adopt the same attitude. They can control their emotions. There are certain things that women cannot do such as lifting very heavy weights. If they do so, they'll obviously encounter health issues. However, both gender are equal in the sight of Allah concerning their duties towards him such as prayer and fasting . There is no distinction whatsoever.
Be man enough to realize that even if a woman may not understand, or desire to submit to a man, they still deserve to be protected at all cost.. A real man wouldn’t allow anything to prevent him from doing any thing less!!
