I totally agree Do Not Read "The Assassin's Blade" First. In my opinion read it third & not fourth, but that's just me. I think is important to not know some things when you start reading Throne of Glass & is more exciting to discover them later. But maybe if you are a reader that prefers knowing from the start, then probably you would enjoy more the series by reading The Assassin's Blade first. 😊
Yes! I actually read it third the first time I ever read the series. I honestly only did it fourth for this "Entire Plot" series because I originally planned to skip this book, but I'm glad I changed my mind after Heir of Fire!
I'm so happy I finally got the chance to watch this video.😊 I read The Assassin's Blade before Heir of Fire. I have finish Heir of Fire & I'm currently on chapter 31 of Queen of Shadows. I'm having such a good time reading the books for the first time & watching your videos. ❤
I’ve actually not read those books yet, so I can’t compare… but the entire book series is multi-POV like nothing I’ve read before! The first book only covers a couple, but the further you get in the books, the more POVs you get!
Hi !! I've reached CC3 unknowingly that it has an acotar crossover. But I'm really scared if it'll spoil acotar if I read CC 3 further , so I would like to ask ..can I continue CC 3 and then I'll read acotar after House of flame and shadow..
It will spoil ACOTAR significantly further 🫣 so sorry to be the bearer of bad news… but I swear it will be worth it to take a break and read ACOTAR first!!!
You’re so sweet! Get super cozy, light a candle, and drink some hot tea 🥰 maybe some dark academia ambience in the background? It’s such a vibey mood read 😍
I’m so happy to hear this!!! It’s exactly why I’m making them 🥰 I’m reading these books for the THIRD time and I still am catching new things every time!
Is anyone else's Kingdom of Ash a misprint? Whoever printed the book added some of the same pages in twice...I had to skip around the book in order to find the sections that matched the current chapter I was reading
I am soooo glad I read the throne of glass in the order you suggested. It was an accident. I read the first 2 books and didn’t like the lead girl at all. Then I jumped to crescent city but it was too much. So I decided to come back and decided maybe I should get that assassin blade book….maybe I missed something. Now I love it. After reading in that order, I see why reading in that order is best
Hi :) It's me again. I'm from Canada and my first language is French. I have studied language acquisition in university and if you ever wish to practice French with me, we could talk about books and things like that if you would like
As someone who loves listening to audiobooks, your recaps are absolutely needed as I tend to miss on crucial elements of the plot lol!! I'm excited to watch your next video :) BTW, I am doing a marathon of all your videos, and I wanted to tell you how much I have been enjoying your channel. I do not want to comment on all of your videos to avoid spamming you lol, but I just wanted to tell you how interesting and creative they are! Keep on the good work!
Great video ! I would love if you could do another video in the future after you have finished re-reading and analysing the ToG series to see if any of your original rank changed (e.g. Crown of Midnight).
That’s a great question! I could definitely make a video about that… But for now, I would definitely recommend reading the review on Goodreads! That way you can make sure that you get all the info without any spoilers ☺️
@@RubyJeanVlogs Thanks. 😊 I’d also just love to see him do something again and get to be more of the center point of the story. I’ve yet to see him do a full on leading role and he’s proven in the projects I’ve seen from him over the years that he can do it.
Fourth Wing is great! Not - best book ever - like you hear it hyped up to be, but it’s good! On the other hand… Iron Flame could not have been more disappointing to me… BUT I know this is a fairly controversial opinion since most people love both books!
Ugh! So even though I watched your video before jumping into TOG , I later referenced an image from reddit for the series reading order, because I can't retain information apparently. Anyways, this reddit image said to read "Assassin's Blade" after "Heir of Fire"! Welp, that's the order I accidently followed, and the whole time I was reading AB after HOF was torturus and made no sense. THEN I come back to this video and see you put it after "Crown of Midnight," which makes way more sense in my opinion. YEESH. Long story short to anyone watching this video, don't make the mistake that I did and follow this girl's advice!! Now off to finally read "Queen of Shadows"!! 😅
Glad i came across your channel. Unfortunately i already started on CC before starting ToG, (finished ACOTAR months ago and been on a hiatus), but I'm already hooked on CC and i haven't even hit chapter 5 yet. Even the world building has been incredible to me. I plan to be crazy and do CC1, CC2, follow your recommendation on ToG with the TAB as #3 and the Tandem Read, finish up ToG, then go back to CC3 Edit: just updating this as i just finished chapter 5 of CC1, and i don't want to continue. I'm in so much heartbreak right now. How dare she do that. SJM is truly horrible for doing that to me. How do I continue after reading chapter 5? What's even the point
I JUST started reading Maas’ books and was lucky enough to start with ACOTAR. (Lucky me!) now I guess ToG is next. To keep my own sanity though, as I am a very poor reader, I listen to the audiobooks instead. Anyone having any recommendations on that front? Also how high is the spice level of ToG, I would like to be able to hold a straight face in public 😂 (I have no poker face what so ever)
