Good point, Walmart and most grocery or hardware stores across the US sell barkeeper's friend and for general cleaning all you need is dawn dish soap which I believe is what I was using for the video as per the instructions
I've been eating Liverwurst sandwiches since 1942 during W.W. 2....Besides all the usual spreads and onions, I Like sweet mixed pickles and half sours on the side....To me it adds a nice taste to the liverwurst.....
Irish Breakfast would typically be stronger and maltier than English Breakfast. The fact that you found it the other way around suggests that it’s because you got the “extra bold” variant of the English. One more comment is that both Irish and English Breakfast are blended on the assumption that milk will be added.
@@rodricksrecipes4238 I’ve never had Scottish so I can’t say. I should clarify too that when I say Irish Breakfast, I’m referring to blends actually produced here in Ireland rather than those produced by British companies. A good example of an authentic Irish Breakfast tea is Barry’s Master Blend from Cork City.
A nylon brush helps but the company listed the steps in the video. I sometimes use barkeeper's friend then wipe it down a few times with plain water on a towel for heavy buildup
Everyone has different needs and tastes! I tend to be underweight typically. Any recipe I share I encourage people to customize and try it different ways.
I'll try asking the manufacturer to see what they say, mine uses Fahrenheit and doesn't switch between which seems to be the case for this unit, other models switch when you hold the time and the temp button simultaneously
If you want I can work on a video on proper tea etiquette including how to season your pot but the purpose of these videos is to introduce people to new flavors
When I do comparisons of similar flavor side by side I do a full cup comparison. The approximate volume of the teapot I'm using is similar to a single cup as it's a small pot
I like another brand better. It's more expensive. Other bills right now you know? So to make this a good cup I've found if i bring the water to a rolling boil and remove the kettle and wait maybe 10 seconds and pour about 8 oz of water over the bag and steep no more than a minute it's a pretty decent cup. If i steeped the full 3 minutes per package instructions the cup would be bitter and that's usually why people don't like green tea.
Turn off the background music. It is beyond me why RU-vid content creators think playing background music over their voice is somehow enhancing their videos, it is not, it is distracting. We came to hear you, not to fight background music which quickly becomes extremely annoying and intrusive. The music makes it difficult understanding you. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus while concentrating on your voice they must also concentrate on tuning out the music; frustrating. Your background music ruins an otherwise exceptionally good presentation.
Thank you for the advice, I do this as a hobby and always appreciate constructive criticism! For me part of the reason I do music is due to some insecurities about the sound of my voice
It's important to consider context and that people do things differently. I'm reviewing store bought bagged teas and In this context comparing 2 different ones. What you're talking about is how to enjoy a tea out of a seasoned pot which is also nice but not the goal of the video which is to introduce people to different flavors of tea and give my opinions of them

Two questions from a noob (myself)... Is it proper or improper to "squeeze" the bag? Second, what about re-using the bag for a second cup (proper or improper)? THANKS for doing this video.
Squeezing the bag will give it a stronger taste but you're probably going to tear it if its not nylon. As for reusing the bag it won't be anywhere near as strong. If you are wondering for personal consumption I'd say it is dealers choice but I wouldn't do Either if serving a guest and I wouldn't "squeeze" it at a restaurant. Traditionally most enthusiasts I've met prefer loose leaf teas but those are a whole different thing

Typically it will cook off. Be very gentle removing anything on them and if you use water (do this only if absolutely necessary) make sure they are dry before using them. Crystal can crack when heated unevenly
Typically this will burn off most things as it seems to run at ~1000°F But if you need to clean it dampen a paper towel and wipe it gently then allow it to dry completely. This is what I do and it hasn't been an issue as of yet
Hi Roderick I tried another Earl Grey the other day called French Earl Grey. I still prefer traditional Earl Grey and of course Lady Grey however the vanilla added into French Earl Grey is very interesting😉. Maybe try it and let me know what you think🤔.
Thanks for the video! I live in Virginia and have been trying to track down Deutschmacher brand Liverwurst. Seems it's nowhere to be found sadly. Just wondering, what state do you live in?
I live in Southern New England. Keyem is the parent company of Deutschmacher so they are typically sold in the same stores. If you find keyem liverwurst it should be a similar recipe (if not the same one) but I find that the keyem branded products are typically slimmer than Deutschmacher
