I saw Francie and Josie a couple of times as a kid, I can still feel the swell of the audience voices on the chorus of Sweet Violets, even from the intro.
Does anyone have the lyrics to this? I can't understand the words sometimes...the crowds laughing so much..i know its funny...i would love to know the lyrics of that they're singing.

Jim Barclay Hi There just thought id let you know they did a Tribute show all over glasgow between Jan/Feb this year was a total sell-out. Now its back by popular demand @ The Gaiety Theatre in Ayr on the 19th & 20th May 2015. The show has been giving 5 Stars by Mrs Mulroy herself.
I'll never tire of listening to Francie and Josie. I feel privileged to have grown up in a time when they were up at their peak. My daughters, both adults, also love them and have fond memories of their Papa playing their reunion concerts to them. They have the abilty to make all their favourites sounds frech and new no matter how often you hear them
Listen up people, there is a rumour flying round the world of tv that bbc Scotland will be putting this and there final live performance out at Christmas and new year.... Let's hope it goes ahead
@beverage2008 It's a great pity that politics can even be brought into something as innocent and as classic as Francie and Josie. My goodness...does it really matter to you that much?..and just because some guy said they were from the UK...bloody hell. You dont get comedy like this anymore it was a class act it was really simple comedy you laughed before they said a word sadly not to be repeated and it is nice that we have people to upload them on YT thank you for posting
There is nothing like a bit of culture.........and thats nothing like it!!!! But it is funny,an excellent example of Music Hall Comedy.Brings back happy memories of Francie and Josie on TV[Black and White of course!!!]. Working class double entendre at its best!!!!
