Thanks so much for watching and we're so glad you enjoyed! 💛 The tranzalpine express runs from greymouth to Christchurch (from the west coast to the east coast) in the South Island of New Zealand, where as the Northern Explorer runs from Auckland to Wellington (from the north coast to the south coast) in the North Island of New Zealand! Both are run by the same company, Great Journeys NZ, and I'm sure both would be stunning! We did have a chance to visit the North Island but not to take the Northern Explorer - maybe next time! 😊
