thanks for this demonstration - I have neat video but I have learnt to color grade in resolve, and edit in premiere - and I'm so confused as to what workflow to use - ideally - premiere then resolve - then final noise reduction with after effects? but so complex
Hong Kong Blog it is complicated. I usually use this workflow: editing in Premiere - Grading in davinci Davinci -Using Davinci NR for qualifier only - Mastering in Premiere + Neat Video Noise Reduction
Андрей Николаев wow thanks for your reply - what format do you export to from da Vinci back to premiere/ after effects - do you use an image sequence/ lossless format to avoid compressing the video?
I prefer Neat Video because it removes noise. It seems like Davinci freezes noise instead. I use Neat Video if I have a frame with a large flat area where I can make a selection. Otherwise I use Davinci, but it has to be tuned very carefully, default settings don't work
Yh, Resolve's algorithms aren't the best :D Temporal noise reduction doesn't work with anything moving... Spatial noise reduction is plain terrible. Just bought the OFX version of Neat Video and impressed by the results we get.
I have. But I didn't notice any difference in the quality of NR. But I figured that it could be tuned to get the best result. I still prefer Neat Video though
