I have been still hunting out west for many years. You nailed everything about it. It's good to see there are other people that hunt this way. It's not very popular it seams, but it's a great way to see plenty of animals that have no idea you are there, as long as you do everything you mentioned. Great video!
You did a great job. I have the exact same boat as you. You've sold me. That's the Bimini I'm getting, mainly for my beagles that fish with me. Thank you
Bought this a few months ago and it’s time to use it but I’m so confused by all the gadgets - how do I unmount the waterproof case? Put the battery in and tried to turn the camera on but it won’t too :/
Hi Frank, that's a great ATV trip. Now that's a trip that I'd love to make one day. Makes for great video content. Hopefully, I will do that one day to make a few videos for my new RU-vid channel called 'Cooze Adventures'. We made 'Cooze Adventures' on the fly last summer during a vacation that we made to Portugal, which is my wife Lucy's homeland. We will be making a trip to Newfoundland, my homeland, from Ontario to Newfoundland in the next few weeks. I'm very much looking forward to that, and hopefully, will get lots of material for more videos. I just subscribed to your channel, so I'll be check out your other videos as well. See you on RU-vid, and you never know, maybe on the trail, pointing our cameras at each other. :) Happy adventures and cheers to lots of future You-tubing!
Cool!! Great video. Thank you for sharing the unboxing. Just received mine in the mail. Looking forward to using it soon. Have a good one. Keep on campin on
Really enjoying your work. Began to watch your Newfoundland Trips and then discovered you Dutch Oven collection. Seven hours later was amazed to hear the name of a mutual acquaintance Cyril Goodyear. Amazing what you find on you tube. Enjoying your Clarenville to Gander videos, our riding area.
Thank you! This was very helpful! I ordered my dad the Bimini top and the latches for Father’s Day! He also has a Bass Tracker xl classic. He’s going to love it!
Frank , saw Darrel this past Sunday, May 19, 2024, he was working on the Yarmouth trail with a Kubota tractor, spoke with him for a bit, talked of him being on this video, and of his accident, took 8 months to get healed up, Hes looking and feeling good now.
It would be terribly tight in spots. It might be do able. But it would be tricky in sections without a doubt. Passing on coming traffic would be a rough and impossible in spots.
That was in August. If you want to be able to pick the front of the boat you need to be there more then an hour early (I think we were two) and literally stand at the gate to be the first on the boat. However there is no real bad view point on the boat and you can walk around somewhat.
I’m just a touring guy. The 700 has plenty of power and torque. The 1000 was like $4000 more here not worth it. I was coming from a light 850 atv and I was crazy impressed with the power on the 700.
Ive also got enough time before next season, starts in October and it's February. I would like to plant food plots but my land is all wooded and I don't really know what will grow on mostly shaded ground. Recommendations?
Hey Frank, enjoying all the content. Moved to NL this past summer and just bought a second hand SXS (RZR 800 EPS) and had a couple runs on it so far. Absolutely loving it! Hoping to do some longer trails on the Avalon this summer! Next year might even do the west coast!
I want to travel east from Argentia next year and then back track all the way to Port Aux Basques. Maybe go to Carbonear or Bay Robert’s. I hear they have been working on a trail. Not sure how good it is.
