Thank you very much for the information! I am located in Argentina, therefore I could not send you the camera. Would you have information on where to find the circuit board for the LCD?
Here is a link to purchase the circuit board. www.ebay.com/itm/335037827882?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=fUFosvJDQVu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
@@VideoOneRepair im portuguese, so i cant send it to you, i was hoping you could just share some info. It was already sent for repair at sony in spain, it was unusable. Now it does it still but not as often. Seems to do it more with a samyang lens. Could it be the magnets of ibis failing? Camera was bought used with 300k+ shots. But the shutter curtain was replaced recently.
If you had it repaired at Sony, I would definitely send it back to them because it sounds like it’s still not right. One question that I would have is the camera going into an error. If it is then it’s definitely possible that the ibis is causing the failure and would most likely need to be replaced. If it’s not going into an error, then it’s hard to say what might be going on until it is troubleshooted on the bench.
No, it’s more of a problem with how the SD cards themselves are made. In almost all cases it is caused by the SD cards themselves. The plastic of the SD card brakes or is damaged due to usage or mishandling and then causes damage to the SD card slot. Another issue is when the SD card gets put in to the card slot either upside down or crooked and is forcefully shoved in there. That will also damage the SD card slot. Hope this information helps. If you would like to talk about this subject more, you’re welcome to call us at 888-283-2228.
Thanks for the heads up. I went on and checked to see that they are all working on my end. Not sure why you are having trouble. If you need to contact us and live in the US you can call 888-283-2228
My Sony ZVE10 was live streaming wirelessly during worship fine one moment and then I went to go do the sermon and now it will not send a signal to the mobile monitor or directly to atem switcher. Any idea?
Sorry to hear that you’re having a problem with your camera. First off, we do not work on the Sony ZVE10 camera. Things that I would try is a different HDMI cable, reinitializing the camera, and trying a different monitor. Good luck with your camera.
Is it only doing it when you’re panning? If so, I’m curious if it’s doing it because you’re shooting in 24P. If you need help with it, you are welcome to contact us at videoonerepair.com.
There are a lot of variables that can cause this, not necessarily related to the IBIS. If you are in the US and would like some troubleshooting help, please call us at 888-283-2228.
Thank you for your comment. We don’t make any price quotes on RU-vid. If you would like to know the estimate you can email us at info@videoonerepair.com. Also, we only offer our repair services inside of the United States.
tengo una camara Sony HXR-NX5u, al revisar las grabaciones que hago con ella noto que al hacer un paneo la imagen queda como si fuera en tercera dimension, como coriggo ese problema. gracias
I would start by resetting the camera back to factory default. If that doesn’t fix the problem, you may need a main board replacement. Unfortunately, on those cameras, the main board is no longer available. Hope this helps.
Do you really repair the lens? I called and you really just replace them. The repair cost I was quoted can buy a used cam of the same model. I have a a sony NXR-5U. If I received wrong info, please feel free to guide me. I really want this cam fixed but @$680 used and $1000 new in lens replacement, it's not worth the repairs 😕
Thanks for reaching out to us. We are finding due to the age of this model camera that replacing the lens is more reliable repair. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach back out to us anytime.
@VideoOneRepair The cost inhibtive and you really should remove "Lens repair" from your ad because you don't repair lens for the afore mentioned models, it's misleading! I will be checking to see if your ad continues to say "Lens repairs" as opposed to replacement! We can talk if or when the replacement gets cheaper for used @680 USD & new @$1000 USD. There are new cameras available at that cost!
I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I was under the impression that the camcorder was going into a 32:60 error. When the camcorder is displaying this error, it is more reliable to replace the lens. We can repair this lens but not for the C:32:60 error. There are many other types of issues with the lens that we are able to repair successfully, at a reduced cost, versus replacing the lens. As always, if you have any other questions, please feel free to call me anytime. Thank You, Sherman Bahr www.VideoOneRepair.com Toll Free Phone Number: 1-888-283-2228
@VideoOneRepair Thanks for the clarification because your ad did and does say you repair Lens with that C:32:60 error code amongst others, and you listed the error codes associated with other Sony cams. That's the reason I called you guys. Thanks again for the clarification. 🙏🏽
hello, i’m in need of a replacement of a card slot on my sony a5100. is this something i can do myself? and if not, would you happen to have a price estimate?
Thanks for watching our video. I’m sorry, but we don’t work on the Sony a5100 and are not familiar with internals of that model. We also don’t sell parts for that model either.
Thanks for watching our video I would be happy to help. We don’t quote estimates in the comment section of RU-vid. Please call us at 888-283-2228 to go over the cost of this repair. Thanks, Sherman.
Im having an issue with a Lumix gh6 , I believe the port got damage with the pressure of constant in and out, it even made the internal mics stop working . any advice? ty
Thanks for watching our video. Although we don’t work on Panasonic cameras, I am assuming that it’s probably a similar situation to this Sony camera that we did the repairs on. Most likely you’re just dealing with a bad mic port. My recommendation is to find somebody that is experienced with these cameras and have them repair it for you. Best of luck with your Panasonic camera.
If your camera repair is as good as your phone service this is going to be a tremendous relief. Shooting stills and video with this shaky ibis problem is so nerve wracking! Thank you for making this video Sherman, and thank you for the outstanding customer service on the phone. I look forward to my repair and if it's half as good as your customer service on the phone it's going to be better than I expect. Sony Alpha user (A7lll) and now a new VideoOneRepair Customer :)
Thanks for watching our video. I would be happy to give you an idea of this repair. Just give us a call at 888-283-2228 and I’ll go over the repair and the charges for it.
I have an issue with my A7iv. When in Steady Shoot Action mode, I get a squeaking noise when the Camera is titled. When setting the Focal-length manually, everything is fine. Any idea what this could be? Sony tells me, that there is no error.
I definitely don’t think a squeaking noise is normal. Is the camera under warranty with Sony? If so, I would get it sent in to Sony and get this issue documented. If you have any further questions about it and live in the US, you’re welcome to give us a call and I would be happy to help. 888-283-2228.
If the camera is on when the screen is cracked, could it damage circuitry in the camera or the 200-600 Sony lens attached to it? I dropped it from a height of around 2 feet on to fine gravel. Th lens shows no external or glass damage.
There’s no risk that a cracked LCD screen would cause any problems with your lens. It’s also not likely that it will cause any problem with the circuitry of the body however, I have seen a cracked LCD screen cause the camera to run hotter and therefore I would recommend replacing it. If you have any further questions, you are welcome to give us a call. Our phone number is 888-283-2228.
Sherman it's Keith Kuhn I wish you guys would make more videos. But anyway expect a follow-up video From my previous one I sent. I hope that you will enjoy it. I will try not to bore you. KK

No, the EVF lens block is a sealed assembly. Hope that answered your question. If you have any additional questions about this, you’re welcome to give us a call at 888-283-2228.
@@VideoOneRepair ok - my eyecup has a very minute thread of a oily substance on the eye cup tread (that clicks into the evf). It’s not on the viewfinder itself or on the runner to the rear of it. What could it be?
So just to be clear, there is no lubrication, and there shouldn’t be any lubrication on that part of the assembly. The only thing that I can think of is possibly oils from your skin when you put your eye up against the viewfinder or some sort of outside substance.
@@VideoOneRepair I wiped the oil off from the eye cup treads (the thread that slots into the camera EVF) and it came back again after being placed on. I presume it may need an inspection. The camera operates fine and I’ve had no issues at all.
You guys are awesome I've bought parts from you before.for My NX5U ,I just need to know If I hook a larger external monitor up to this camera Will I be able to view The cameras menu through the external monitor ? I have failing eyesight I can no longer see the small little 3-in plus screen. Thanks Keith Kuhn
Hello Keith it’s Sherman. Hope you are well. Yes, you most certainly can hook up an external monitor through the HDMI and bring up all of the on screen information. You do this by going in the menu to Display Set, scroll all the way down to Display Output, and then set it to All Output. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call me anytime at 888-283-2228.
