What it means by where it says 'connect only if there is no CANBUS'? I connected those red wires to reverse light, rest exactly the same way but my unit is not responding to trigger the camera when I switch to reverse gear.
Video cable with red trigger cable. Red 12v Power to camera. Connect both to ur positive wire on reverse light. 1+1+1. The top video wire that connects to multimedia device connect that to any 12v while ignition is on. In this case your camera gets power and its only triggered when reverse light or reverse gear is active. If you have issue with video feed you may need a 12v filter customers bmws required 12v filter, they cheap on amaz,on. *also keep video cable away from active wires that also can mess with your video feed.*
You mean reversing camera? You can connect your existing reversing camera. It just need an extra wired, An aftermarket reversing camera will give better pictures
Does this have my config options like factory so in the factory unit I have doors locking automatically and headlight to stay on for 1 min after walking out would I still be able to configure them on this unit
