I don’t understand the hold, if I want to change it because is too hot or too cold and I want the temperature to change when I put the new number how can I do that?
Do I have to point the remote to the air conditioner when setting the start and stop time? After setting the start and stop time, do I have to leave the remote close to the air conditioner so the the remote can send signal to the air conditioner at the start and stop time? Does the air conditioner has a clock and a timer inside that will know when to start and when to stop automatically? Moreover, will it start and stop at the same time each day if I do not cancel the start and stop time setting? Thanks.
The time on my remote shows but nothing else. It has fresh batteries. I have turned it on but when I push mode nothing comes on the screen. Why does the time show and nothing else come up on the screen? Also the light at the front isnt coming on when I push any buttons. I have to turn on my splitsystem manually cause my remotes not working.
I went with a ductless two years ago - it cost a fortune, but having a forty year old furnace replaced and getting it out of a hand built cellar in a house over 100 years old probably would have cost as much. What I like the most is I don't have to heat/cool the entire house just the room I am using. What would I have done differently: one less unit inside, a floor unit in the living room instead of a wall unit (room is cool in winter-heat rises). I don't like the way it looks on the outside of my house even with the wire covers - it's ugly. This is the first time I actually saw a difference in my electric bill (lower) during our heat wave, I thought it would be very high but it wasn't, my gas bill is very low. Yes, I am basically happy with the efficiency of the units inside except the LR. Do your research is the main thing you must do - this is a very expensive system if you are doing an entire house.
Thanks for the video. Does anyone know to deactivate the beep sound from these aircon units? Is there a hidden button combination in the remote control?
John, I have just watched all 3 of your videos about this remote. Finally, after having it for 5 years, I now understand how this remote/unit combination works. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this understandable for us 👍
My remote buttons stopped responding, but the screen was still on, so I replaced the batteries. Now the remote will not turn on. I’ve tried holding the reset button, re-placing the old batteries, and the screen is still not turning on. (Our unit is still working). Any tips?
I can't get the vent to power on it not connecting it wouldn't power on I changed the battery but no communication or unable to change the up or down arrow all I am getting is flashing time on the remote
i don't have a smart mode i don't have a smart set button. I do have "powerful button". my mode jumps over the heat mode and shows a Fan symbol in the mode column.
I do not understand “Smart Set”. I understand it is just a toggle between two settings. But how does one “Set” the alternate Smart Set setting? Why would one set (if ever I learn how to) an alternate? You gave an example of an away setting. Does one need to remember to toggle to away, then toggle when arriving home? That makes no sense to me. Help!
I have a stupid question, I have the simple remote , can you set it to click on and off it’s self, so you don’t have to click it on manually. Thank you so much.
