Try watching the whole video, I show the location of where to check the fluid, where to add, how to add… much more. thank you for your emotional comment
So I replace this part on my truck notice it had a Burt spot on the last pin so I replaced it now I get air blowing towards me but now I’m getting hot air no cold before it was blowing super cold before it stop working and replace the blower resonator
Was just about to send my 2017 F150 to the shop to have all 4 bulbs replaced. Had watched other videos on how to change them and came across this one by accident. Long story short, spent more time dreading doing it that it took to do it. Thank you for the video.
judging from the comments this trick worked for everyone but me, tried it 6 times on my 01 mustang which keeps going off every few minutes even though my seatbelt is latched. watched you video twice before i tried it and now twice again afterwards and what i noticed different is when my light goes off the first time the alarm starts going off and doesn't stop when i plug in the seatbelt like yours does and after the second set of 3 seatbelt connects the light doesn't go off for the 7 seconds it just goes straight into flashing and beeping, i'll try it again but i think whatever is causing it to false alarm is screwing up disabling it....
It’s hilarious to watch these videos and hear how easy it is to remove two simple bolts. However you never see one of these guys actually remove the part. The space behind the glove box is limited. The bolts are not easy to get at and you have very limited space. Not to mention several other wire harnesses. It’s real simple just 2 bolts my friend!!
Worked for me I think. .. I gotta turn car off then back on again to make sure. Anyway you know how to get all the doors to unlock when I put the car in park😂
I have a 2008 Ford Escape, it took about 10 clicks into the seatbelt fastener. It didn't work on 3. So I just redid this and waited for the seatbelt light to come on. When it did, I clicked it once more and done! - Thanks bro!
Gonna try this on my 2004 Escape XLT. That damn thing comes on when I put it in drive, and then does it off-and-on for about 5 straight minutes before it turns off, whether I put the car back in park or not. Drives me nuts.
@@bearlyexplored It didn't, but only because I didn't do it properly. We're in a heat-wave right now, so sitting there each time I go to start the car and play hokey-pokey with the damn thing while I'm sizzling is not ideal. Thanks though.
Dude! I drive a 2008 Galaxy up in northern Norway. Me and my firlfriend are out on a road trip when the seatbelt alarm started malfunctioning and chiming sporadically (with the seatbelt attatæched) for the last three hours on yesterdays leg. This video literally saved the rest of our five weeks on the road and possibly our relationship! One of the most useful RU-vid videos I've ever had the joy of finding. A million thanks from the arctic!
My connector has a short in it....I've tried 10 plus times to get the connector out of the resistor I'm starting to think it'd melting on but I don't see any signs of anything melted
They can have a pretty good friction fit sometimes, it was very hard to pull mine apart the first time I did it. I hope you’ve made some progress since your comment?
@@bearlyexplored Someone took/them off and they did not reinstall. All standard 4X4 trucks had at least a small steel skid plate that just protected the electronic steering rack from hitting anything (mainly where the computer section of it hangs low). The FX4 trim had a larger full skid plate under the engine (thin steel) along with a transfer case skid plate and a fuel tank skid plate , the 6.2L V8 option trucks and the Raptors have an even larger thicker engine skid plate than FX4 with less holes, and the Raptor has the most skid plates: an aluminum front plus the 6.2 skid plate plus the transfer case and fuel tank skid plates. Your truck should at least have the small one that protects the steering rack. All the skid plates are interchangeable. I put all Raptor ones on mine, they bolted right up, you just need all the hardware.
@@thrRnz9496 that makes me sad… the dealership I bought it from tried “stripping” the truck before I took delivery. They took the subwoofer out, all the rubber cup holders, floor mats. Maybe they took those off too or didn’t reinstall them after a service? 😞
@@bearlyexplored Probably one or the other. You have options for skid plates: buy new aftermarket non ford, buy new ford oem (probably most expensive), buy second hand in the used market, or go to a junk yard and take what you want (make sure to grab ALL the bolts and bolt retainers as well). I took mine off a wrecked truck someone was parting out.
