Awesome that you have developed another alternative from the one that has been available for awhile. Great video, and it all looks very well made !!! Good price also.
1. dunno how i feel about oil in the electrics (is dry from factory, not wet) 2. water will get in through the clutch cable port in the casing. ive sealed these up before but because the cable moves, it will work the sealant free and leak in water 3. another type of oil to buy to go with your bike, why not design it to use the same oil? 4. battery doesnt charge. not an issue with a kickstarter too i guess, but for 1000 bucks, i dont wanna be charging batterys or MAYBE kickstarting it 5. YZs (125 and 250 2t) have a beautifully designed airbox where the filter can go in and out very easily. you wrecked that with all the wiring being 'tucked away' in there 6. go through a water crossing, cases cool, breather hose then sucks a gut-full of water in i used my 2012 yz250 in the bush for years (bought in 2016). ended up getting a 2023 sherco 300 for enduro last year and im kicking i didnt get one sooner. the clutch is 1000% more modulatable, the gearing is waaay better all round, the 2 maps work good for different applications, the fatter 140 rear hooks up beautifully .... YZ is a wicked MX bike, but its out of its league when in an enduro envrionment
🥇This is a brilliant design!!! Very good job with the video and installation details. The Antigravity 801 is a great choice being that it’s very lightweight and packs a lot of energy for many starts.
Yes thats true but I just had my left ankle replaced in 2020 and my 22 YZ250 is hard to get both feet on ground now as cant point left toes to ground and older to. Dont want to give up YZ's so getting kit. Had 5 older 250's and this with lower seat will help me ride. My YZ125 I could start with my hand but bikes are tall and I am shrinking with age😂
Looks nice! I'm using a total loss with my Pantera kit. But I use a 6 cell 2000 mah lipo RC battery for 25 volts fully charged. It's smaller and lighter than Antigravity and only cost around 30 dollars. BTW it STARTS FAST.
That's factory. Not that a 2 stroke 250 needs a starter, but it looks sooo trick your gonna sell a bunch. And of course you're riding the 'starter' wave. Starters are in. Great great timing with what looks like a well engineered product that looks like something people are gonna want just cause it looks trick. Edit: Just saw the price. Yep, that's factory. A bit pricey, but there's a ton of yz250's out there. I think you'll do good.
Hope it’s over three stories because I’d follow you out it if you’re going. It’s like listening to a baby cry. Horrible production of a video that has something awesome to offer. Why anyone would want background music is beyond understanding.
I really want to get a first run of your starter, but winter is a slow time so money is tight but it is in my future. I will be installing a fan and a proper charging system also.
I’m a little surprised by the unsupported flywheel gear with external bearing support. For some reason panthera thought it was needed and it looks to be close to the same mesh system.
@@DSHoss if you are partly paralyzed you shouldn't be on a yz for one . And I was just saying why would you want a electronic starter on a yz they are so easy to kick over you could even do it with your left leg they are not hard to start definitely not hard enough to warrant spending money on a starter most people want this because they are just lazy oh and have chicken legs too 🤣🤣
