Mines makes a funny noise almost like a suction noise it’s not like the one you demonstrate it’s more like a doont dooont dooont it only does it at acceleration from the stop any idea what that is and the break sometimes kinks up

There should be a place for an Allen key in the bottom of the bolt to keep the ball joint from spinning. Then, just use a wrench to tighten the nut.

Curious why people aren’t adding ring gap, what’s stock ring gap on a 2.5? I plan on doing this but only adding ring gap to the compression rings, should hold more boost

Do you have a video of how to get the engine out/in the car? Do you drop it or lift it out? I got to do this on Mazda CX7 2.3L Turbo.

How long did this last? Did you remove engine from top or bottom? I've got a blown 2.3: Turbo CX7 to sort out - spun bearings.

Did it resolve the problem, I have the same fault code on my 55plate C5 v6 2.5 trip, the same symptoms and my PRNDS are illuminated in red as well as the clunk in D and R plus it won’t change gear when it’s doing all this which it does after a short time driving it, I’m currently not driving it because of the issue. I've owned the car a month or so and driven it 2or 3 times and I’m desperate to get it fixed hence my opening question. Thanks, great vid too.😊
