It’s because the stereo isn’t on, thus leading to the chime being played next to the steering wheel, close doors stereo has enough time to turn on tada you’re welcome
My 73 Continental has seatbelt buzzers that are in the seat the sense when about 15 or 20 lb in the seat and they make this God awful noise it comes out from behind the radio that says errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I love that car and have had it 26 years now but that buzzer was annoying when I was 20 and it still is today. When I was a kid I was a rebel and used to buckle the seatbelts behind me as I've gotten older I actually put the seatbelts on but I still hate that buzzer.
1980 was the first year for those generation Ford F-series pickups, Broncos, & medium duties. The pickups & Broncos were finished in 1986 but the medium duties on the other hand were still in production up through 1999.
