This is dumb. All this just to own a gun. All these corrupt laws and regulations to have the people, once again, forced to do business under what the government mandates and sets up to have a controlled market
I can confirm that Lost River's .45 ACP+ hardcast is the best and most reliably feeding "penetrating" round I have found for my Glock G30, and I have tested a ton of them. Even when intentionally limp wristing it I have a very hard time forcing a failure with them. I also completely agree with Ted in regards to the 10mm and it being picky with heavier hardcast. My Glock 29 (10mm) can be picky depending on the day and I feel like I can't totally trust it- don't get me wrong it's devastating, but I feel good enough going out with my Glock 30 and the Lost River rounds and know it's going to feed well. The prices are insanely reasonable as well.
Got tired of waiting for coyote editions and built my own. Suggest offering a X-Macro TacOps version as well for those who'd prefer the longer barrel and dont want the 'comp'.
We're not limiting the run anytime soon, make sure you get one on order with your local Lipsey's dealer. You can use our dealer finder here: www.lipseys.com/dealerfinder
We started selling to dealers on 6/20, so they should hit store shelves soon. Might want to put in a request with your local Lipsey's dealer, they'll probably go fast at first.
1st and foremost, the 510 is THE platform for 10mm. Anything else is uncivilized. Unfortunately, the 10 round magazine design needs improvement. After waiting 90 days to get my 510 in DC 🙄 I take to 2 magazines that came with the 510 and the 3 10 round Mags from GunMag's website to the range and quickly realized that only 1 of my magazines would hold 10 rounds while the other 4 would act as if the max capacity was 8 rounds. Something is getting stuck internally after that 7th round, and the 8th is an absolute battle without a speed loader. Trying to push the 8th round with the speed loader causes deformation on the Casing. I'm hoping there's an off chance of anyone even seeing this comment since it's a year old video, but I guess we'll see. Still a FN fan either way. It's a fantastic product with a nuance flaw that nobody else seems to be speaking about. Outside of that, it is an absolute shooter with a phenomenal amount of thought and effort in the overall design.
The short runs only benefit Lipsey's and Ruger. By the time most of us hear about a Firearm we might want, they are Long Gone! Please make them more of a standard shelf item. Or Special order item. Best Wishes from Montana!
I bought one a few years. In the beginning the magazines needed a good whack to slide in so I sent the gun and my two mags to SIG. They fixed it free of charge and I never had any issues with this gun ever since. Great gun. Not a single malfunction. And it’s beautiful, too.
