Nice buses! How old are these buses? Which city and country is it? Which brand(s) and model(s) is it/are they? Which chassis and motor do thes buses have? Are these buses a diesel or an electric ones?
Van Hool is the company, Exqui.City is the name of the Model, and its a 2011 one. They're electrtic, and this video specifically promoting the 24m model one is located in Trondheim, Norway
The companny is now in ruins bankrupt tanks to the leftist belgian gouverment that desided to buy chineese electric busses for public transport i will never set a foot on those hunks of shit...
That was clear again, that the city of Trondheim would fall for this !!! I could almost have bet on it ... ... double articulated buses and guided buses are an INFERIOR REPLACEMENT for a transport system, that we already have for long: TRAM / LIGHTRAIL. No possibility of train formation (tractions). No turf tracks are possible. Instead, there is a lack of safety on street and in pedestrian zones, due to the confusion without lane guidance. The partly dismantling of the tram was the biggest mistake in the city's history of Trondheim, in terms of transport policy and the tram survived only thanks to the great commitment of its citizens united in a private company, which has impressed and inspired people worldwide. But instead of doing their homework - in view to traffic turnaround, climate change and e-mobility - and correcting this blatant mistake and routing the remaining GRAAKALTRAM BACK DOWNTOWN, this municipality has no other creative idea, than to purchase double articulated buses. It has to be said very clearly, that this is not an innovation at all, but a sham package ! And that is by the way, why the french CITY OF CAEN has switched from those buses BACK TO THE TRAM. After all, the tram is also the forefather of e-mobility ;-) .
All of the few comment defending this crap of engine should be people working or related to Peugeot in any way. Pure crap, the excuse of that the wet belt reduces friction is totally false, the only posible reason to choose such design has to be make the cars useless past 10 years or a 100000kms and sell new ones.
UN MOTOR PARA ESTAR ORGULLOSOS , MENUDA BASURA. POR LO QUE SE VE VAIS A PEOR EL 205 EURA INDESTRUCTIBLE LUEGO VINO EL 206 QUE BUENO UNA DE CAL Y OTRA DE ARENA LLEGO EL 307 Y COMENZO EL DECLIVE A PEOR Y AHI ESTAIS INTENTANDO SUPERAROS A FABRICAR CON MENOR CALIDAD Y FIABILIDAD , CON QUE DURE LOS 3 AÑOS DE GARANTIA O 100 MIL KM YA SE LAVAN LAS MANOS ESO ES HOY DIA UN COCHE UN PRODUCTO QUE DURA 100 MIL KM O 5 AÑOS YA QUE LA MEDIA RODAMOS 20 MIL POR AÑO Y AL MODICO PRECIO TODO ESTO DE CERCA DE 30 MIL EUROS
I bought a brand new C3 Aircross 1.2 puretech 81kw year 2020. After 95,000 km, the oil strainer got clogged due to the process of disassembling the shitty belt in the oil and the "oil pressure error" warning light came on. I always had the oil and filters changed 1000km or 2000km before the 15000km interval at an authorized service center!!! And that belt is falling apart and that is why it is necessary to flush the engine if the error appears to get the pieces of rubber out of it and replace the oil strainer with timing belt. The 1.2 puretech with turbo has enough power and is pleasantly quiet, but this is a complete nonsense by design to put the belt in oil, because it can destroy the whole engine. I would definitely not recommend the 1.2 puretech despite it has pleasant driving characteristics. The French claimed that they solved the problem with a new belt, but based on experience I will say that the problem persists. I would be curious if they will solve it in the future, especially for cars they have already sold. For anyone who wants to defend this engine in terms of reliability, 50,000 km is no big deal. Wait for 100,000km or 150,000km. It's a ticking time bomb.
