Teach me how to trust You and rest in Your love. Speak to my heart and whisper Your Words of encouragement and hope in my ear. Let me know that everything is going to be alright. Whatever You allow to come my way let me find myself praying and not worrying, trusting You and not doubting You. Let me find myself crying out to You, seeking Your face and Word for comfort, courage, faith, understanding, and direction. God Thank You that all things are working together for my good because I love You and I am called according to Your purpose. When I watched Rugby 7s, I kept seeing the Figi team praising God, I must have seen it 50 times. I thought, praise God these guys are believers in the Lord Jesus!
After what we saw at this year's Olympics I don't think it can ever again be called the world's greatest sporting event. We saw satanic displays, we saw Christ mocked and we saw men beating up women and being applauded and rewarded for it. Shameful. The Bible says that where sin abounds, grace abounds even more and our Lord and Saviour manifested his presence in the worship of these beautiful believers. May God richly bless them and their land and may He bring the ceremony organisers to a place of repentance. God is a gracious and loving Father eager to forgive those who call on the name of Jesus. Equally the Bible is clear that God will not be mocked and those who mock Him do so at their own risk.
