Thats awesome but this bike don't need a full system lol. You could've went with a slip on and saved tons of money. This bike has racing headers on it already. This is awesome though^^
Sure, sorry bro i didnt mean to come across like the power ones are not a good or sticky tire because they are! I just felt like the Pirelli's take it to another level. I do alot of track days and racing and used to always use power ones or the new power pure's! Now using rosso corsa for road & track, and super corsa for track, quite a big difference! Lot more feedback! I run a 190/70 on the rear and a 120/60 on the front, bike practically falls over into the corners! Awesome..
I financed the whole thing with the exhaust system for 9k... but I also got 4,400 for my 06 636 on trade in... so it would have been 12,600 after taxes and such.
LOL! You think the Power ones are good!! Dude i just finished with a set of Power Ones and fitted the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa's and they are even fucking better!! In fact ive just fitted the Rosso Corsa's to both my ZX10R's! UNREAL Grip!! Way better than the Michelins!
I was running battle ax tires. They are stock on the new zx10r... They aren't great tires though, not so sticky. The reason why there were no chicken stripes was because the bike only had 800 or so miles on it when I got the exhaust. I am running power ones now and THEY ARE AMAZING.
Hi dude, lovely motorcycle one of the king SS bikes & lovely full system. May I ask what tires are you running on? I see you have no chicken strips and it has really nice tread to it.
Installing the system gave me a good boost of power... I just recently replaced my air filter with a BMC race filter and now she screams... will post videos of her action soon.
That is kind of like sting you can run 88 octane too... Your system with the link Pipe needs the additional fuel to actually utilize the exhaust. Since there is increased flow, you need to be able to increase the pressure of exhaust exiting the system. It may seem like you big is running well without the PC5 but it will do damage. Also, you said you didn't notice a difference... Then why the hell did you pay $750 for a full system?! I noticed a huge difference in performance from the first ride
Thanks for your answer. I was planning to get a Akrapovic SlipOn + LinkPipe, but will stay with the stock for a while now. Here in Brazil it`s a lot harder to find good bike accessories.
I got a power commander 5 installed with the akrapovic system. There isn't a map for the akra yet, so I used the map for a Leo Vince full system. I you have just the exhaust with no mid pipe, you don't need the PC5. If you get the midpipe, you DO need the power commander.
Did you remap the ECU for fuel enrichment or just install the SlipOn+Linkpipe and it`s ready to go? I'm asking you because Akrapovic says it's need a ECU remap when you install the linkpipe.
Hi Dzingbat Yes, I'm aware of that, but thank you for clarifying. From what I observe, Coke 'sponsored' or endorsed or encouraged the competition, and yes, i completely agree, the university did a GREAT job, not just good. Unfortunately, from a strategic perspective, Coke continues to talk the language of the 1080's, sorry the 1980's. No disrespect intended. The most successful brand in the world is now trapped in its own box of past success, hence this sort of local marketing initiative.
Dear Coke Colleagues, You appear to have completely lost the ball. Not only do you struggle to find relevance for the Coke brand (since quite some time), then you demonstrate a clear misunderstanding of what viral marketing is and how not:-) to use it. This is not viral, it is a nice marketing initiative at a local scale, which does nothing to help the fact the brand continues to struggle. Nice movements by the U of O team, nice adaptation to the Coke world. Too bad its not 1985.
