I would like to start candle making. What type of wax shud I use. I checked the online stores. There's so many different types of wax. I have no idea what to get as a beginner
I struggle with melt pools/ wicks so much. I spend so much time to test my tin plate 8 oz jars. It seemed like the best results i had with double ECO 0.75 until i saw many of my candles at my friends homes ended up with tunelling 😁. Although many people said me that candle is very good and burn all the way down. You can test your candle 4 hours every burn and repeat until its down but the problem is the people probably wont do it. I want to create a candle which is safe and will burn all the way down no matter how you burn it, is it even possible ?
thanks for the video! im just starting, how do you know what's the best percentage of oil? I have seen 6-10% but what is the one that is " commonly used"
Why didn't I loose any interest while watching this? Because your points are too good and your way of explaining is outstanding, I would love to have you as a science teacher back in my past 😅
Pronounced "Van-nuh-lin", not "Va-nil-lin". It's made in only three places in the word. In France, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (where I am), & since 2007, in Jinjiang China.
Hello, i have a question Am i still able to purchase your online guidebook? I know you havent been posting on RU-vid for over year so idk it its still available
What am I hearing here ….. everyone can start this if u are a bit creative and artistic is very easy ! U can start small make for u or for your friends etc and u can promote them on ur you tube channel as well. And slowly slowly u can make it !
My experience with paraffin was quite negative. Once a candle cooled down the surface would just sink up until the middle of jar. Idk maybe it was not a good quality wax, but that’s what it was. On the other hand, soy and coconut waxes i used are very soft and smell good, but are very delicate. So it leads to many visual unappealing issues that always need fixing.
@@SoJangHo37 You must be a soygirl since you react to criticisms as being a “hater”. You seem like the type of person to call someone a hater merely due to someone disagreeing with you.
💯 truth I gave up on wax that would not throw well even after a month cure. I forgot about the candle and years later during a move I found the candle. Well I decided to light it and omg one candle almost fill the entire house. Now I’m not saying you should wait year round cure your candle but the fact is the longer your candle cure the better they throw well.
I will use your guide in making candle for my scientific work, thank you so much for making these guide available online and free for people to learn, may your hard work burn away through the candle and fill up the satisfaction of your work!
I am actually using essential oils and all candelilla wax for my candles, and the hot throw I am getting is excellent. Cold throw is mild but smells great. I figured out the adding my essential oils at 153 degrees and stirring them in well is key. Thanks for the video.
Just getting started and I’ve been hung up on the idea of essential oils because I am an asthmatic.. But this video was so very informative, and I greatly appreciate the breakdown.. I think I’ll use both and make sure to label them as such, that way, whatever the customer is looking for I’ll have, and the decision is solely theirs .. Thank you!!😊
