Thanks for the upload! I discovered that removing the secondary air pump (3 nuts, a hose, and the electric connector) let me get a good grip on the engine side hose clamps without special tools!
Few hundred dollars. I am not sure what the repair will cost in your area. Call a few shops and ask for a quote. It is also a good idea to have them confirm what the issue is.
This could do it, check with the website details to see if it is covered for your vehicle: www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/PEL018656SCH01A.htm?pn=PEL-018656SCH01A I use this most times: www.iscantech.com/iscan-sf/
To re-use the airbag, it has the be same part number steering wheel for that bag. You didn't mention what year and model vehicle you are working on. With your vehicle info handy, give The Pelican Parts parts specialists a call at 1-888-280-7799. They can figure out what part or repair kit you need.
@@pelicanparts 2009 997.2 PDK with multifunction wheel. Wanting to upgrade to a wheel with paddles and muti-function. And hopefully not have to buy a new airbag.
No way. Its literally that easy? No hidden screws within bumper or other stupidity?!?!?!? Oh boy. I been wanting an e39 and debating, and theres a set of euro lights i want on it if i buy. Camt believe it would be this easy to swap. Guess ill be considering the model even more so now
No way to know how to turn that screw to align the tabs, you can blindly 360 degrees and never guess. Would have been nice to indicate actually for example 12 o’clock or so 6 o’clock, not when it’s disassembled, oh look this hue it’s done . Dislike for this
Thank you for the extremely clear and detailed explanation. Also very good pacing on explanation and arrows on the video make it crystal clear what you are talking about. Very well done video.
I just did a BMW M240i cabin filter for a friend. What a PITA that was!! These two nuts under the dashboard, then two torx to get the filter cover available and then pop the two clips on the cover. This is under the dash pointed at the carpeting and ALL the way forward under there. Push the cover out of the way, pull the old filter out, then figure out which way the air is flowing, then bend the new filter to fit the curved filter holder and push in from underneath. Then the bottom cover of the filter and two torx, then two 10mm nuts to hold the dashboard lower cover. #$%^&*( Mercedes: pull the 10mm nut, remove the filter cover, replace the filter and put it back. Yep, BMW's suck!!
I love the 956/962 series of Porsche race cars and would like to see a restoration but you started half way assembled. Doesn’t show the before condition, what repairs needed to be done and only an above viewpoint. Sorry guys, not very interesting.
2010 C300 , I replaced the blower motor with a non oem part which fit perfectly and changed the relay , but the fan on the blower motor doesn’t move . The lights on the dash work but I don’t hear anything . Should I replace the blower motor resistor ? Thanks for any help !
how can we be sure if the fan is not working which of both would be faulty for example on mine w212 fan is not working at all now im wondering should i order a resistor or a new fan any advice

You have no idea how happy I am as a young guy fixing my own car, to see a replacement video being only 3 minutes long. Just got done replacing a window regulator and it drove me insane.
Hi there I changed the transmission oil on my 1992 e300D w124. When I pulled the filter a small pin fell out. Do you have any idea where this pin comes out . Thanks in advance
Thanks for clear instructions. For my E90 with 130k miles, would you recommend a coolant flush additive prior to new coolant and would that also help with maintaining condition of the coolant pump and thermostat as preventative maintenance?
When you change it, do u have to relearn it or it depends on the model of the car. I have e350 2006 and I heard that it has to be relearn. I don't know if that's true tho.
Some models do require a relearn with a scan tool. I have also seen people replace the sensor on vehicle that require a relearn and not need it. If you have RPM limiting or fault codes, you'll need the relearn.
Nooooooo. You don't need to remove anything. The sensor sits in a rubber grommet which slides into a U-shaped bracket. It's so easy to reach in and, as you say, wiggle the whole lot free. Then just pull it forward, unclip and replace.
