I don't know if you've read this one, but "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Tenn Boom is supposed to be an amazing story of hope amidst STRONG adversity. My parents read it together and said it was a hard read, but very uplifting as well. Enjoyed your list!
Hi it was mainly due to the time of year we went. It was during s heat wave and the room was just too hot for us. The building itself we were in was also quite run down. Had we gone a different time of year we probably would have just asked to move tk a different building

Hi Sopie, I‘m interested in the Chanukka-Menora. We learned about it in school when we visited the nearby „Synagoge“ (I don’t know the correct English name) but I forgot the ritual. How does it work? Do you lit the middle candle on the first day and each day a new candle is added, lit from the first/middle candle. Are the lit fron left to right?
Yes on the first night you light the taller candle called the shamash usually on the end or the middle and use this to light one candle for each night of Hanukkah . For example on the fourth night you’d light the shamash and then 4 candles .

This is a HORRIBLE book for young teens! The poor girl gets blamed completely and the grown ass man PREDATOR gets away scott free. He abused his power, groomed her and is a peadophile. Kids get crushes on teachers, that's normal. What's not normal is stuff happening cos the teacher abuses their power. Teachers don't 'fall in love' with students. The ones that say they do are nothing but peadophiles using their job as a way to pray and groom children.

I thought the green button up was cute on you. I had reduction surgery last year. I know exactly what you mean about the gap. A remedy could be to use double sided tape to keep the gap closed. I would do that sometimes if I really liked a shirt. Layering was not a good option for me because I felt like it just gave a very bulky look. You picked up some cute things! :)
