If you wondering with weapon to use for the fight I would recommended two handing antspur rapier with bleed affinity if you know how to dodge his attacks and want a harder challenge or if you struggle to dodge his attacks use verdigris or fingerprint shield as well as a thrusting sword or spear preferably antspur rapier with bleed affinity or one that can do frostbite and bleed.
at this point i hate this game. it says "no weapons in this area blabla". now i stuck with this boss fight because i lost 9000 points from the boss before. at this point its no fun anymore.
Thank you for this, the fully upgraded puppet string and puppet ripper did it (with some acid and thermite at the end). Beat her on the first attempt after watching this, tried at least 15 times before that. Even my specter survived the entire fight!
Radahn has the same amount of damage negation against everything at 40% except for holy damage at phase one (0%) and pierce damage during the whole fight (20%), so if you are trying to choose a weapon, holy damage in first phase and then switching to pierce damage (thrusting swords or spears mostly do pierce damage. you can check this in your inventory). Fire/magic/lightning is actually the worst you can bring to this fight...
Holy is his greatest weakness , Sacred Relic Sword or Coded Sword are great against him or a Bleed weapon like Bloodline and fire with the blasphemous sword
I’m still new and just getting started on the crafting side of things, can you explain what you mean by writ payouts scaling to the perks on each skill line means? Is that how high levelled your provisioning/blacksmithing etc skills are? Or is there actual perks on each of them I need to look out for? Sorry this is very overwhelming for noobies like me i may need a very dumbed down version 😂
I managed to cruse through DLC without too much trouble, yes, it's a difficult game with crazy bosses but doable... but this boss.. huuh.. It's not good if you are a strength build like I am right now in NG 3.. this and Messmer, damm, I died a million times till I finally summoned Hornsent and killed Messmer, I just couldn't do it alone. I bump into this piece of s**t today, tried to finally take that night sword ... I died five or six times and even I managed to strip 90% of her health bar she or it, whatever it is, one shoot me at the end of each attempt. I was greedy and tried to rush things, that's for sure but damm.. I killed a putrescent knight in first attempt, Messmiers bodyguard in a few attempts but this and Messmier aaaaaaa... I'll try tomorrow, enough for today if I want to keep my keyboard and mouse alive :) . What a great game ( not sarcasm), I'm playing for more then 400hrs and the game is still awesome, even after more then two years of playing (I don't have more than few hrs through the week to play.. job, kid and family but I'm still loving it ) . Tnx for this guide, it definitely helps, I already saw my mistakes, just like with many other enemies and especially bosses you have to wait for openings and never try to rush things, that usually leads only one way :)
Thanks for this video - I decided to try the fight first even though the tight space made me really apprehensive. I did what you did but instead of climbing the ladder I climbed the face and kept to the back there above the face. The boss kept trying to reposition and I was able to whittle it down over 5 crimson tears.
Blasphemous Blade and the weapon art with fire boosting talismans paired with the Mimic are the only real way I found to beating this guy. It's 95% rolling and 5% attacking. Sacrifice your Mimic, attack only when you're absolutely sure there is no follow up attacks and eventually his poise will break. Once you get the riposte, at the expense of your Mimic, you will win the fight.
I was struggling so damn hard and then realised that this is in fact a fire-element boss. Switching from my Messmer's spear to 2 Uchis and following your tips made it a cakewalk (thank god I was 55 dex). Nice video! Thanks!
I thought this would give a real CHEESE, like the ones we had in Dark Souls where you could snipe a boss from a safe spot or things like that. This video merely gives a method, all nice and everything but useless for me because I'm playing as an astrologer and can't melee for shit...
Fun Fact. If you turn your controller upside down, and close your eyes, you're more likely to press the correct button. He will shake his head, and seppaku himself.
Anybody that sees this. Just get the battle axe thats sold at the roundtable hold snd use the “wild strike” idc how cheesy this strat is this boss is bs.
