Welcome to Love Boat Cruising. I’m your host Angie, and I love cruising solo on Princess Cruises (aka having lots of fun). My hometown is a tiny beach town in Los Angeles county Hermosa Beach (1.4 square miles).
I sail the ocean to/from Alaska, Mexico, Hawaii, California Coast and through the Panama Canal. I play ukulele and enjoy music and dance (especially tap).
I’m a Naturalist, Comedian and former computer weenie and surfer.
Yes, I took a Princess excursion city tour (bus) and also walked around town near the ship. The ship docks close to downtown. Thank you, have a great day.
I’ve taken eight cruises on Princess all over the world, you don’t need your passport every time you get off the ship it’s just a risk. If you feel more comfortable, take a photocopy of it and put it in your pocket. I have a built-in case with the compartment in the back, I put my photo ID credit card and a little bit of cash.
No tux needed unless you two want a real formal photo taken on formal night. Otherwise, any collared shirt and slacks works well. Thanks for the question.
Be sure to bring your own chocolate! Princess does a good job on general rolls and pastries, but not a lot of chocolate pastry or dessert options on the sailings I was on.
It's clear that you love to look out to sea as much as we do. We love a traditional promenade deck for scenes/moments like this. A really fabulous channel you have here Angie which is going to entertain and inform us as we look though more of your great content 👍
Many Brits are curious about an Alaska cruise. We are fortunate here geographically to have Norway nearby to satisfy our fancy for a Fjord!!, but Alaska is a whole other scale, and so your video was great to watch.
Some fabulous scenes and images in this video. The city, the ship, the pass under the bridge. All of which is new to us, and definitely tempts us to follow in your footsteps and a cruise sailing out of SF.
Love sea days you can cruise around the ship and relax i agree with the first tip for sure eating in your room and relaxing is great!!! The only draw back the ship is crowded
Loved your notes... You have gotten cruising down to a science. Being the frugal person I am, I have forced myself to walk to/from the pier to the Ferry Building with luggage. It looks so easy when you are not dragging a large suitcase. 🧳🧳
We are booked on the Crown Princess 12/22!!! It is a 16 day Holiday Cruise to Hawaii 🎄🎉🎊. There is still availability. Imagine the holidays on a cruise. Who else is booked?
How will you cope/manage enduing this cruise. Abundant food, drink, and non-stop entertainment during the holiday season. I applaud your bravery! 😉 🚢 🍹🍹
There is a rumor on the Interwebs that you are a Princess VIP and live on their ships 365 days a year. 😉 At your pace, you must be on first name basis with most of the crew on the Pacific routes. Thanks for the content.
You are very welcome and yes, I’m friends with many crew members. I enjoy imagining what ship I’m on and where I’m headed. Happy Holidays🤙I’ll be on land looking out to sea until February❤️
