Nice comparisons of what the models offer, but it would be nice to see if they actually deliver that. For say- 4k quality. Does anyone of them actually give 4k quality? or lets say WiFi connectivity- do they connect at certain feet away or just keep re-connecting?
The 852 is completely pointless. It’s only real difference is it has a 2.5 wan…… doesn’t matter a single bit because all of the outputs are 1gbps. So even if you have a wired backhaul (moca 2.5) you will only be sending 1gbps to that satellite. So outside of standing right in front of the unit on the main router……. That will be the only time you see more than 1gbps
I have the old Arlo2 system with 5 cameras and it's been amazing for 7 years of use. I'm lucky that I paid no fees to run 5 cameras that held video on the cloud & local storage for 7 days. I don't think I could pull that off with the new version of Arlo. Maybe you review here needs some camera output comparisons, sad it's lacking.
Hi, The phone is compatible with 3CX and works well. However, we do not recommend using Thirdlane software due to its unreliability. Phones frequently disconnect, and they do not have customer service to address the issues.
Excellent content! Fanvils are excellent, and we frequently use them for our company and clients in conjunction with Thirdlane Business Cloud PBX. They complement each other perfectly.
Very helpful Dan, thanks. I have the Arlo Ultra 2 with 4 cameras and an Arlo Hub with SD card underneath. No USB port unfortunately. I want to access the recordings remotely. However I have a 48Tb NAS I would really like to record 4k onto. Is this possible? I don't want on going subscriptions, I have tooooo many as it is, which is why I have a hub and also converting to the NAS. Can you please send me what I need to access remotely and, if possible set recordings to the network NAS. That's mate.
the monitor doesnt have any "ghost" effect on any colour? bc i jusz buyed a monitor watched a review, not from you guys btw, and they didnt say it gonna have any
You did not cover these highly important pionts 1 - Dont you all think that in 2023-2024 that SSD 2.5 is 12 years outdated? 2- The Home base only uses 2.5ghz wifi - seriously - still??? 3- Camera streams are not compatible to Hubitat, Matter, and other well-known home automation platforms, which means they are proprietary to their app! 4- Is there a way to extend the 16GB to other internal storage?
It seems the videos I watched on the M5 have all setup the first pod with an existing router. I have an older Linksys 2500 router that I am reluctant to use as I think it may be a bottle neck for IPS speed. I believe I have the option to leave the old router out of the equation and connect the first pod directly to my modem. Is that accurate? The 1st Pod will then operate as my primary router? Because I have a need to plug in four ethernet cables at the location of my first pod I plan on purchasing the "TP-Link 3-packDeco M5 Mesh with 5 port Switch". So I assume that I would connect the 1st Pod to the Modem and then use the second port on the 1st Pod to attach the 5 port Switch. Is that also correct?
Easy to setup 😂 I spent 3 hours trying to set this up with the app only to call up my ISP and have them guide me through the router settings on my computer
Arlo has a great solar option. I have had the same batteries on solar for three years. Also, I have a thumb drive on the base station so I save all videos directly to my thumb drive with ZERO prescriptions. So why keep harping on a subscription when Arlo allows you to store your videos to the base station?
this monitor jiggles a LOT. ive had it for about 6 months and it's kind of painful if you're playing almost any game that isn't super slow/chill. i even notice the jiggles while just browsing. keep that in mind before buying edit: you can even notice the jiggles in the video.
Great video. I’ve had an older Arlo Pro 2 system with a monthly subscription for nearly 7 years and, in general, I’ve been satisfied with it. I’ve had to replace the base station once and had to replace one camera (out of six) during that period. There’s a sale today on the system reviewed in this video and I think it might be time to upgrade. 😊
Can notifications be set for time of day for certain exterior cameras in a situation where gardeners and other service workers are active during the day and expected but have notifications/recording active in the afternoon through the start of the next day?
