Need to tighten that nut tight at first to seat the bearings then back the nut off til loose. Then snug it back up and then back it off just enough to get the pin through hole. Nice job! 😊
THANK YOU for sharing your gear/set up. Yesterday I was simply looking to chillax, stopped and grabbed some trout worms. I threw out a basic bobber and Aberdeen hook. Few nibbles & enjoying some quiet time…then…WHAM. I thought for sure it was a bass, but it never surfaced or breached. At least 5 minutes later, a channel finally showed itself. I had nothing with me as I was simply looking to pull a few B Gills. lol. I wear a size 12 shoe and it was just over two shoe lengths. Whoa! I was blown away by the surprise & by the fight. I slacked lined it several times as I only had 10# test and I thought it was going to break me off. After tiring it out, shored it, hook removed, took off like a torpedo. That was an unexpected battle/rush I haven’t experienced in a minute! lol. Good times!
@@HataKreataz Sure thing! 😁 that’s always the best way to fish! Never know what you’ll catch! A few weeks ago we did a video in thunderstorms and I caught my new Pb bass. Used a dock demon and a worm. We stayed out after gill fishing just to mess around and have been searching for those big bass for awhile! That’s awesome! Love to hear others fishing stories! Way to stay positive ladies! My grandfather was an outfitter in Ontario. The only boat he would use is the Smokercraft Alaskan. I have spent so many days in those great little boats.

@@jagrayso We do not eat fish out of this lake due to personal preference. This lake has a flag system for toxins including harmful algae blooms and higher runoff levels from city waste. If you take a peek at some of our other videos we have done a catch & cook from other likes where we do harvest some. We mainly practice CPR ( catch, photo, release ) 😁
@benoitfishingoutdoors Awesome! Thanks for the response! I really appreciate you telling me about the the signs for lakes. You know I've ate just about every catfish I've caught, with the only warning signs being on the guts. I'll be checking for those signs for now on!
@@benoitfishingoutdoorsHey my 6 year old son and I love your videos and he has caught a fish Ohio Channel and Bowfin in Ohio. We are headed to Chippewa Lake next weekend and one fish he has wanted to catch is a Northern Pike and I heard there may be some in that lake. Any chance you have fished for or caught some Pike? Any advice on a good spot to get him on one? Oh and I was going to use Walmart shrimp for catfish and bowfin while there as well. I see you usually use chicken and bluegill chunks. What do you think about shrimp?
@@masonsfishingfrenzy796 we definitely use shrimp some times just found were we fish blue gills work well for us! As far as pike fishing I have no idea we don’t normally target them and have never had the luck to catch them I have seen a lot of people catch them out of mosquito lake if I was going to try that’s where I would start! Allison’s fish was a tank! There must be something in the air, it seems like everybody is checking out carp fishing lately. The other day, I had carp coming up all around me. I went ahead and ordered myself some carp stuff. 😂
@@Spence_Outdoors thank you! We’ve always wanted to get into carp fishing and have been trying to go for carp more often we just can’t get away from catching catfish though. Especially since we can use 3 rods now 😂
