As one can see from my videos, I'm mainly posting General Hospital clips and storylines from the 80's and 90's. That's the era that I watched and, in my opinion, GH was at it's peak in writing and acting at that time. I concentrate on the Quartermaines but have been known to stray and post other character clips of significance or fun. My favourite GH family is the Q family (especially Alan and Monica) followed closely by what I call the WSB family of characters (Sean, Anna, Robert, Frisco and Felicia).
Try watching my videos in high quality. They look much better.
Over time, Frisco makes so many promises they cease to mean much. But always felt his commitment to love Felicia, for forever, was one he'd never break. However, here, he says he'll TRY to love her for the rest of their lives. Perhaps he's being a bit more honest.
Felicia's mention of orange marmalade. Bit of an 'homage' to when she and Frisco first met, he was hiding her in the vacant apt, and she mentioned...and he brought her...a jar of orange marmalade. Aww. ❤
Even tho still good...gh was resting on its laurels after 1983...the writing..directing..music was lazy after 83.....that helped guiding light stay steady..and santa barbara to rise...which eventually had gh fall behind y& r...
Awwww. An early example of F&F doing their 'rubbing noses' thing when kissing. Sometimes takes revisiting some of these old clips to notice things missed in previous viewings. So frustrating the GH writers didn't allow Felicia to be more of a participant in crime solving over the years, especially after Frisco returned from the dead. Was always obvious it piqued her interest and she was capable (as when F&F were on the run not long after they married). Never understood why GH chose to have Felicia sporting the ginormous hair, the voluminous, dowdy dresses. Men are very visual creatures. Would Frisco have found those attractive? F/K looked so pretty with her hair in a messy bun or ponytail. (Frisco just liked the length so that he could play with it.) She was in shape, had a great figure, but much of the time it was hidden under so much fabric. Other female cast members wore more attractive, flattering and timely garments.
I was 18 in 1985 and a huge fan since 1978. I'm still involved in the lives of the Port Chuck residents 46 years later. Love how Anna is still front and center in 2024! Ooh and Robert's D.A.😮
I was a 17 year old kind, taking 3 types of Morphine for an accident, then next thing you know its 10 years. I had been hooked and it killed me that my mom was considering putting me in a hospital. Michael jackson had died, and i was so excited to see him in front row. A very dear friend told me, "Those pills you take you will be dead at 50 just like him." It finally took till i ran out, and i spent a week in a detox facility and been sober over 10 years

Never quite sure how to read Frisco's reaction when Felicia says she wouldn't want to be around to see him living as Sean had been (on the edge of danger as he was during the AT SL). Perhaps Frisco was just starting to get a glimpse as to how his personal and 'career' choices would risk his losing Felicia. Sadly, that happened when the WSB became his priority.
John Hurt was born to be the Doctor. He didn't even realise how perfect he was for the role. No other actor could have played a Doctor who didn't exist until the biggest milestone in Doctor Who history and instantly make me think "that's the Doctor". My only regret is that he didn't swap places with Peter Capaldi. I would kill to see John Hurt do Series 8 and 9. Capaldi's sociopathic attempt at playing the Doctor would have worked in the Time War because the whole point was that the War Doctor was a shameful incarnation.
