Nadu is clearly not a casual card. I will respectfully leave a table if someone brings Nadu out of not the rest of the table is not bringing out at least high power decks. Even the cheapest version of this deck has most of the broken cards in it. Honestly I don't know what Nadu in casual will look like but it definitely doesn't have scutes, lotus cobra, any of the free equipcost equipment, any way to blink your commander. And to any who says I am over reacting I goldfished this deck a lot. I really really liked it. It is a really fun deck to pilot and does something I love in my abdel Adrian. When someone removes I get at least one card back. But the deck is stupid strong. Maybe a landfall cantrip deck? Something really really not obvious might be playable in casual tables. I don't blame the game. The game was great. You are playing with new commanders. It is great to see Nadu make an appearance. But I don't want to see that commander in my lgs any time soon unless we are actively playing cedh.
I gotta say our play group has enjoyed MH3 additions holding out Nadu. I made an experience counter + eldrazi spawn/scion deck as well as a couple necrobloom versions. One was combo and other is actually zombie tribal with a bunch of fetches to dredge.
I think id urge people not to watch this video. I felt like i wasted 12 minutes of my time trying to watch new content but just saw a try hard solitaire player dockside looping on his friends. Wish we got to see the decks play out. That was a real "geee you did it...." win. Super lame and a disrespect to your friends time to be honest. Was hoping to catch a glimpse of some gameplay of the new commanders! Instead it was one dude playing solitaire
why not kill the Lumra player with the sword of forge and frontier equipped?? (at around 20:03) they couldnt block bc of protection from green right EDIT: yea what a way to throw the game
So, Sword player needed to actually do something with his combats, Like kill the NADU player, his comment of "If I take him out then you'll just kill us" was really the wrong mindset when he tried to swing in twice already and got blocked both times by a thopter, taking out the Nadu player who had a win con in hand seems more pressing then the energy player who "MAY" be able to win. Also the Sorin player shoulda just exiled the creature so no tokens were made and the attack was stopped. but I am not there, I do love your content keep it up.
i know everyone is commenting about nadu, which i feel the same about, but brotherhood scribe is not +1/+1 per energy counter gained. it says: “Whenever you get one or more [E] during your turn, creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn”. so they could have been +6/+6 with two copies if you got three separate instances of energy, but in most cases they were only +1/+1 or +2/+2, which would have definitely changed life totals and board state.
Well each player gets a turn, rounds are usually used to represent a full turn cycle in a game. It can also be used in the way you’re referring to as well though.
Sorin, Ravenous Nenonite. Was getting worried Nadu was about to be unpunished for tapping out to drop him turn 2. Not nonstop murdering Nadu/the player was a big oof. Absolute remove commander/player asap. Nooooo, Abtuse is COLORLESS! First thing on there is Devoid. Could have hit the pony.
Nadu is so boring and lame and if u play it ur a loser card should b ban but ofc look who's playing the card he's a dick player if it's cedh it's ok I guess but I might hate it more than oracle u have 2 kill that player fast
You can equip a creature with the equipment it is already wearing to save you a bit of time moving the mantle back and forth. Just equip twice and move on.
@@maxbodifee3263 you can. Equip just has to have a target which is why you can’t unequip. Only something like lightning greaves wouldn’t work because it can no longer target the creature it’s attached to since it has shroud.
I’m glad to see that it’s not just people at my store I play at that have horrible threat assessment. Jason has made an an active Seeker…you kill him NOW before he gets 16 triggers over the next 2 turn cycles. Sorin is a problem eventually…Nadu is a problem NOW.
Nadu is powerful but the other players had plenty of time in this game to knock him out before it went off. The creature with the swords needed to stop swinging at a thopter for two rounds in a row.
Funny bird goes ''draw your entire library and put all lands you own even in real life, like your inheritance and most of the territory owned by you and your ancestors are put into play''. Great content guys per usual guys :)
Yep. I’ve faced the bird six different times. It won the first two games but the next four, we kept it under control. You’ve got to destroy its free targeting cards. I main red in most of my decks so plenty of burn and artifact destruction. I just wish the bird had 3 hp instead of 4 hp 😅😅😅
