This was before her manger revealed the racist comments her record label made about her. So I guess ignorance was bliss in this situation. I’m glad she didn’t know
One thing I have come to realize as a child of my parents Is I don’t know know anything about their personal relationship. So I can’t speak on it. They got a divorce while I was in college. I didn’t know a lot until my adulthood. So a child, now grown adult can’t speak about her parents sexual abusive relationship. She has no idea what Tina Turner went through. It’s one things to protect your childhood dysfunction but no ma’am it’s toxic.

Also I find distressing and disrespectful that you never mentioned that Ike is one of the greatest musicians that ever lived , the guy saw his father get beaten to death when he was 5 , was molested survived poverty and he still able to be healthy enough to make you into a star ! I do know Ike was no angel but I little bit of R-E-S-P-E-C-T to the person who wrote the first Rock’n’Roll in history, the person who Chuck Berry little Richard’s copied and the person that sneaked young truck driver Elvis into the black joints standing in between Ike’s piano and the wall watching everything Ike was doing !

Yea he ain't perfect, but I think the move demonized him why everybody hates him. Prbly grew up watching his daddy beating on his momma and poor soul grew up thinking it was the right thing to do. Ike gave us Tina. Put some respect on his name
Bsck in that day radio used to make these pre-recorded interviews with just her response and the disc jokey would have a script and act like he or she was interviewing the artist live.
That is an amazing long time 2 1/2 years. Erwin Bach must have had a girlfriend. Because that is a long without satisfying a sexual need. German men must move slowly. Or Erwin respected his job because both him and Tina worked for EMI.
