Hi, I'm Anastasia, a life designer and for job a project manager in an AI lab at an Ivy League university based in US. Welcome to my channel where I share tips and strategies on journaling, productivity, and management. Whether you're a busy professional, student, or someone who wants to improve their productivity and manage their life more effectively, this channel is for you. See you in the Video X. :)
I love your idea of using the weeks for three years!!! If you made copies of the index part you could paste them on extra months pages and/or the December pages that lead into 2024. I’ve redated the mega I’m using this year and I just used the 2022 index as is because I needed the date number- it didn’t matter that the day didn’t correspond.
Thank you for the fantastic suggestion! Pasting the index part onto extra months and/or December pages is such a clever idea. It's a great way to extend the usefulness of the planner. Here's to creative planning and making the most out of our tools! 📆✂👍
Since January my Cousin is my ‘everything’ journal for tasks and personal. I never discard my work notes even though I am Old-I suggest you perhaps keep them. 1. you paid for the book yourself. 2. IMPORTANT: you may take your work for granted, but when you want to apply for a new job it’s Great for that review to update your CV and craft a cover letter. Like you, I use a separate blank notebook for meeting notes, which I will also keep-for no reason (or in case I need an alibi?)(or really, because I like the paper). For 2024: Weeks Mega for work. Left-hand page for meetings and task deadlines; right-hand page for task list, and my list of reaponses I’m waiting for, to emailed questions-so I don’t forget to follow up. So that’s for the Future. Blank pages ar the back will be a running log of what I actually did, and when, always dated. I bought the A5 HON for personal stuff-thoughts, complaints, happy stuff, reflection, questions for the Universe. Stamps (weather), stickers (sometimes), photos (when I’m not too lazy to have them printed). More words. And I bought a 5-year. Happily I only need to that again in five years. I chose now because a. someone observed that if we buy this year, we receive TWO leap-years 🤓. And b. in five years I will be the age my mother was when she died. So this five-year block will be interesting to capture and could end up being useful to my much-younger sisters. I plan to re-start piano lessons soon, and expect to capture notes on progress in my HON.
Wow, it sounds like you're quite the journaling expert! I appreciate your advice and the insights you've shared. Keeping completed journals does seem like a great way to stay organized and capture work's moments. I'll definitely consider it for the future. Thanks for sharing your wisdom! 😄📔✨
Nice video! I am waiting on my Hobonichi Hon and Weekly! :) Looks like you are preparing for your PMP. 加油!! I STILL haven't studied and taken the test... am still not motivated to do it.
haha I am still waiting for my hobonichi order, too. Thanks for cheering up. I took the PMP course and haven't been motivated to take the test yet. The whole course content was so boring. @@
Totally understand. The actual practice is far more interesting but unfortunately, the course to pass the cert is too boring.. Hope you get the motivation to get it done and over with soon!@@AnastasiaY
oh no......I like weeks though. I use it for work and plan to use one weeks mega for 3 years to save some money. haha. I never use a Kinbor. Is it good? @@roamwithdory
I don't know which city you are in but I have encountered your posts in several FB groups/pages. I'm a TN/Hobonichi/fountain pen lover, same as you. The two pouches that you share in the video are so pretty. I live in LA and can't wait for CA Pen Show in February to come.
Hey! Nice to meet a TN/Hobo/fountain pen lover friend! I don't even know there is a pen show in US this year. haha....Too bad that I am on east coast. Otherwise, I would definitely give it a visit.
It is the end of 2021 and I just found out about this edition and ordered one. But I think mine won’t come with all the goodies you have here! Thanks so much for sharing!!
I love how you incorporated the squid game illustrations to your weekly timeline view! So creative. My favourite spread is the tug of war one. I also enjoyed watching this most in the show. For 2022, I'm using a Hobonichi Weeks for my tasks and an A6 plain notebook for my journal and brain dump. I used to bullet journal like you in an A5 plain notebook then I downsized to an A6 and now I'm in a Weeks. I really miss the creative elements of setting up our bullet journals entirely. Which planners are you looking at for 2022?
I enjoyed to watch tug of war in the show, too. That's the very few moment that the gamers try to be team players. I am thinking a hobonichi cousin or a hobonichi notebook. I do enjoying the creative elements every month in BJ and I don't like to flip back and forth for different sections within a month so plain notebook suits me well. And I have freedom to add or delete anything that works or not works well in my planner. However, I realized if I have to draw monthly and weekly calendar every month. It takes a lot of time without actually planning. And I've never used a cousin before. kind of interested in trying it. So I am still really tore between a cousin or a notebook. haha....
@@dobby1D Nope. I've only used hobo techo and weeks. And I don't really like empty dates when I am too busy to add anything in techo and don't like that the monthly calendar, weekly and my other notes in a month are separated in three different parts of the planner. haha.....That's why I am so torn @@
I loved how you used your Hobonichi Weeks. I may be trying out the Weeks for 2022 and I think I might borrow your idea as well. My favourite daily spread is just a simple one with the date on the top and the bullet journal method of tasks, events, and journalling all together.
@@dobby1D lol I am thinking to go back to weeks for 2022, too! Or using both hobonichi plain notebook and weeks. still experimenting. Glad that you like the idea. Please do let me know how it turns out!
@@AnastasiaY I love using the plain notebook for bullet journaling, that's why when I came across your video on Facebook, I immediately subscribed! I was going to also do weeks for planning and more "objective" notes while keeping an A6 plain notebookvfor more "subjective" notes! Will you stay in the A5 size for your plain notebook?
@@dobby1D haha thank you for subscribing. I think I might still use a a5 hobo plain notebook for my personal bullet journal. Previously, I didn't use large notebook because i would prefer to have a smaller notebook to carry around. I was also not sure if I have that many things to write. But when i try a5 this year, I just realize it's so nice to have enough space to scribble when I want to. :)
Hi! I liked your vid a lot. I have been trying to look for a RU-vid vid like yours that explains the topics in this vid! 👨⚕️ 🧑⚕️Your breakdown really is like the channel from Dr. Ethan. Dr Ethan's videos are informative and I actually learned a lot for diet! You should really check out his channel out and give Doctor Ethan a subscribe here! 👉 #DrEthanVideos
Love your set up! I tried three weeks in 2017 and it was the longest that I stayed in a planner (~10 months). I’m going to try it again for 2021, and try to incorporate more creative/art things. Your set up is so inspirational!
Hope you will enjoy it again. I am a tomoe river paper lover and love how portable hobonichi weeks is. However, I haven't decided what to get for next year. I might want to switch to hobonichi plain notebook or try out a Cousin. :p
