Unfortunately I decadently erased all of My manufacturing "freeze frames"data and manufacturers specific enhanced data lucky me yeah not ...now it won't do jack I went to start it one bright sunny day and it would crack over it sounded wired and wouldn't start so I thought I'd just hook up my H.F. obc2 I jumped the gun and pushed the erase trouble codes button ..that was pure dumb a** now I don't even get a grunt ...I'm u s.c.with out a paddle....o boy lucky me
Does anyone know where the camchaff sensor is located in a Dodge Ram van extended passenger 5.9 size engine I have to fix that but I can not find the sensor to see what it looks like.thanks anyone.
So number 6 is responding mean it good Number 5 is not responding on engine mean it bad injectors right ? My is Cummins and 3 or 4 are bad when I did on my scanner not responding at all but 2 of them does it about to die
Buy yourself a code reader. These code readers will tell you evverything you need to know. You can also clear codes. I have a 2016 2500 RAM diesel with only 28,000 mikes on it. I'm a trucker so Ram only gets used for a few days every two months. The delears can install codes to come up after a certain time periode to make the owner bring their vehicle come to workshop for false repairs. All my vehicles are diesel and fir that I have a code reader. I can read all codes and reset codes or even deleat codes. So when my truck spat up an ehgine check light followed by ABS and Four wheel drive service message, I was able to tell if in fact it was real or false. In my case the codes were false. You'll get this in every make of vehicle. Not just a RAM truck.
Thank you. Just installed on a 2016 Ram 1500 Crew cab. I noticed diffs between your video and my DZ43301 but this mostly worked. I also understand your video was posted years ago so may be that they've changed the instructions since then. For example my instructions say start the cable guard 5" from base of cable hook, not 3.5". Either way your video helped me see the steps!
I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Big Horn edition with a 4.7. The engine light is on (not blinking) and I did your suggestion. It gave me the dashed lines across the display until it read - - done - - …if no codes came back, why is my engine light on?
