If you have another country’s flag you wish to display (say your native country’s) it should be smaller and placed *below* the Canada flag. Your current country’s flag should always take precedence out of respect. Never ever display another country’s flag alone.

Thanks for sharing your comment! Although it's true that Canadian flag etiquette doesn't officially require lighting, the reason we actually stock this product is because of the number of Canadian veterans who asked for a way to light their flag. They shared with us how important it is to them to have the flag lit at night 🇨🇦
The Titan is a great flagpole but I urge your customers to be very careful when retracting it. I was doing this when the upper section of my 15' Titan pole slipped out of my hand. My other hand was holding the pole at the joint and the pole came down hard smashing my thumb. It was like getting your hand caught in a car door, excruciating. I ended up with a large and painful blood blister and I lost feeling in that part of my thumb. This was exactly one month ago. The blister is almost totally healed but the numbness is still there. Be careful folks!
If your telescopic Flag pole gets stuck? Pour water down into the joint to loosen up, of the dirt and sand in the joint 👉👉 WORKS EVERY TIME! with a band jar opener to. Then hand tight only ! 👍👍

This is not Surface mount that's in ground. Surface mount is usually a plate mounted to bottom of pole and is secured to the surface with concrete screws etc.
I wonder how much more this flagpole would have cost, if they had constructed the interlocking sleeves out of aluminum. The plastic sleeves on my 8 year old pole has broken 3 times. After the second time, 2 years ago, I stopped lowering and raising my pole except to replace the flag twice. Now the flag needed replacing again, and the bottom sleeve is broken again. Sure, lifetime warranty, but what a pain to have to keep replacing these cheap plastic parts!
So sorry to hear that you’ve had multiple issues with your flagpole. This is very rare. The average person may replace one interlocking sleeve every 10 years or so and some never need to have it replaced. The interlocking sleeves are made of Lexan plastic, which is the same material used on airplane windows, so it is meant to last. It also reduces the risk of lightning striking the pole, so it’s a design choice not a budget choice. @@OntarioFlagandPole Thank you! But I bought mine from the Flagpole Farm and they sent me the parts under warranty. They also explained the design choice, saying that aluminum sleeves would corrode. I appreciate your offer though. 👍
@@craigseaman4275 yes it is. If your flagpole stops locking in place it has internal locking sleeves that may need to be replaced. This video demonstrates how to repair if this happens

An excellent video/explanation. Just repaired my flag pole without any issues thanks to video. Your staff was super friendly and quickly sent me the parts I required without any fuss. Thanks for a great product.
Well, I am a Singaporean, either half-staff or half-mast works for us. Idk where you came from but for us either one is ok but we most commonly use half-mast. Also, I’ve never heard anyone flying half-staff on a ship
