Another great video Callum. Are there any easy flat (ish) walking tracks around Lenah Valley do you know?
@CallumJJones

I know a few walking tracks around Lenah Valley. The New Town Rivulet Track is one of them. The Springs to Lenah Valley Track is another. I hope that helps.

That's a good walkthrough! Just on a tiny tangent because it's my expertise ha, but there are actually a lot of merits to how older places were designed (eg Tasmania's "old world" charm), though discounting some of the authoritarian bits like wide streets and symbolism. Usually people assume we've improved in urban design (as social conditions have drastically improved), but surprisingly, we've gone backwards in that regard (apart from some standards), resulting in high traffic congestion, isolation, trouble maintaining things, and inequality (which is especially worse here in Tasmania sadly). This is also why the trains died, despite population growth. Some of the older built environments foster community, good land-use, organicity and spontaneity, and that human charm. Of course it doesn't have to be old world anymore, it can be good distinctly Tasmanian design now. So, there are solutions, but I'll stop rambling

@@CallumJJonesMost welcome 🙏, and thanks again .I use his citate nowadays often : "2% of all the planet's population THINK..and 95% will better die than they would THINK 🤔 ". Looks like Master knew his "main subect"- people . I was in shock when firstly read it , but after 2 years from 2020 - am already convinced - it is Truth.( devided 2% .. from - the majority ..) Again - thank you .Your movie shows - how little a genius needs : piece and a small place for one's work . Best wishes ! ✨️

I went on a WESTPAC deployment where our original itinerary included a port call in Hobart. Exigent circumstances regarding Israel & Lebanon, however, changed all that, and we spent 7 months in the North Arabian Sea. I still regret our not having gone to Tasmania.

informative! but I have to ask, why a rimshot as a transition noise?

Thanks. :-) Using a rimshot as a transition noise seemed like a good idea when I was editing the video. But I realise now that it is simply annoying. Definitely won't be using it again.
