Could barely hear you speak at times Rhian but great video. Don't be shy to speak, we love the Australian accent. All those lights, unbelievable. Hope you are enjoying your time there and are eating lots of delicious food.
I miss Russia and its culture, my country has boycotted Russias culture/arts/sports and i do not even know if I can ever come back to Russia , they call it democracy in new Zealand .
***update+*** So it looks like I'm going to return to Russia at the end of the year, this will enable me to gather the rest of the footage I missed and see much more of beautiful Russia. (Moscow and St. Petersburg)
Московские люди кажутся нормальными, я жил в советской квартире, пока был там. Пока я был там, мне не хватило видеоматериалов, я провел много времени, наслаждаясь культурой и архитектурой, поэтому мне нужно вернуться и снять больше фильмов
wow thank you for posting these. just finished the books, and have beaten the games several times already throughout the years. The series has made such an impact on my thoughts of the culture of Russia and the country in general. Such a beautiful place, and without dmitry's work I doubt I would've even thought about researching much about Russia. You have defintly gained a sub from me my friend, may you have safe journeys in the future. I would like to tryout the routes you've taken here for the sheer exploration.
Если есть какие-то вопросы о жизни в России с радостью отвечу / I am really very pleased that people from other countries visit Russia, but it is important to remember that Russia does not end in Moscow, real Russia is outside Moscow and it is cool in its own way, so if you still decide to go to Russia, then I would advise you to go not to Moscow, but to other cities. If you have any questions about life in Russia, I will be happy to answer.
I was completely aware of the difference between Moscow, St. P and the rest of Russia I chose to see the more English capable part to get use to the cultural differences I would/could experience with my next trip to see the test of Russia ))
@@rhian2033 Hey, sorry for the horrible English and exprimation but here are my thoughts. you know what I don't understand in the game? 1.)in lost tunnels station, the bandits speak how they captured a exhibition trolley caravaner for ransom and somehow you can see him in dry station bypassing 2 Hansa stations 2.) after anomaly mission, Khan & artyom arrive at cursed station bypassing a communist station that judging did not intervene to help the survivors. 3.) after ulman& Pavel save artyom from the nazis, they bypass another 2 commie stations, however you are fighting nazis. Stupid as hell. 4.) even worse, in the depot station, you bypass a nazi occupied station, yet in the map this should have been occupied by bandits. 5.) before meeting the children of the underground, artyom manages somehow to bypass a Hansa station. One very nice detail in this level that after the nosalis wave, there are communists soldier bodies there(probably revolutionaries from the book, but don't expect exotic models(like lumumba) from those bodies. 6.) nazi stalkers apparently want to go reconquer that station, even if on the map there should have the other revolutionaries or if you look, pechatniki conferation(running away from the Satanists of lyublino).
Just for consideration, I went to the Moscow metro to follow the journey Artyom took from the book - Metro 2033. The game was a loose representation of the book, in the book Artyom killed one man..... That wouldn't make for a riveting first person action shooter would it?
The music is from the video game of the same name, Metro 2033. The game/novel is quite emotional and filled with an eerie ambience, I thought I would be fitting to emulate the same feelings in the journey I took through the Moscow Metro following the footsteps of Artyom.
По-моему он специально убрал яркость чтобы всё выглядело помрачнее. вот это у них мозги промыты. В России легко найти друзей без них путешествовать грустно и неинтересно!
Translation, in my opinion, he deliberately removed the brightness to make everything look darker. Here is their brainwashed. It is easy to find friends in Russia without them traveling is sad and interesting!
what are you talking about moron? The only one brainwashed is you. He can't even show the subway? чё ты несёшь придурок? Единственный у кого мозги промыты, так это у тебя. Чё, неужели даже метро показать нельзя?
Much appreciated, I have been playing the Ukrainian video game Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl since 2007, that's where my interest in post USSR architecture stemmed from. I can't wait to return however I need to complete my Metro 2033 video first ))
So one of the memories some Russian kids have, is that around 20 years ago, me and my friend Sasha decided to slide down the rubber rails on the way down into the Serpukhovskaya station (closer to the end of the escalator). Guess how many of the escalator lights I broke on the way down? 4. And the lady sitting in the box caught me and Sashka by the ear at the very end. Thanks for visiting Russia!
I'm keen to get back to there myself. It's a great Country, lovely people and an amazing and diverse culture. I'm contemplating doing a Stalker version however it's been done so many times I'm unsure if it will get a good reception.
So when u release the next video mate, we can't wait!!? 😂 ... Also I hope u did well because its not a good time for travel duo the pandemic. As we know now, it was a huge amount of coronovirus cases in Moscow so i hope u didn't get this shit. Good luck. Privet is Rossii..
