This showed up on my YT front page so I watched it. Then, I watched the same date from this year, April 8, 2024, on Paramount Plus. Double showcase winner in that one. How bout that. And, they played One Away in both shows.

Keep or Give, released in December of 1972, was like Finish Line, which was released in 1978 and Trader Bob which lasted from 1980 to 1985. Keep or Give lasted until 1990. It should haven't been retired. Of all of TPIR's pricing games, it is in my top 10 favorite pricing games of all time!!!

Producer Roger Dobkowitz was going to bring the game back but he got fired before he could do it.

Bob Barker aged pretty bad from 87 to 88

I think the main thing is he stopped dying his hair sometime between 1987 and 1988 which makes him look a lot older

Some people neglect that rule unless they do it intentionally JUST to upset Ms. Buzzer.

that's not very nice the Bob Barker/Johnny Olsen/Rod Roddy era was the best I don't think the Drew Carey era is that great at least Bob Barker knew how to joke around and have a good time he made TPIR a fun game show to be a contestant on

@Vera Didenko Yes, if she had said just $29,000 that would've won her the game and two new vehicles.

Bob was incorrect about the Race Game record being 13 seconds at that time. There is an episode from 1984 where it was won in only 9 seconds.
@ajk
@ajk 4 года назад
It also wasn't really 13 seconds either. If you notice, the clock kept going another 2 seconds after he pulled the handle down to reveal all 4 were right. So really he won it in 11 seconds.
