I like how the maker of this decided to add Vaporeon into this. I can imagine a 4 player battle that has 4 Vaporeon going at it in a serious Pokemon battle.🤩
Which will probably never happen, especially since nowadays, any fangame based around a Nintendo IP is at high risk for getting a C&D order from the Nintendo legal ninjas.
Seriously though it wouldn't. Without 4 player multiplayer and with 2 player multiplayer being very difficult Smash Bros would not have done well. Though a sprite based entry could have done very well on DS. Especially if they do a similar thing to what they did with Mariokart and make it downplay enabled though limited.
I love this! I would suggest a few modifications for a bigger moveset. (They might be impossible, but here we go!) J+A = Grab/Shield, Hold A while shield is up+Direction = Dodge (shield doesn't shrink with time only attacks) (aerial) J+A(+Direction) = Air Dodge (ground) J+A+Direction = Smash I think the first three would help employ more strategy. The fourth is because you need smash attacks in smash bros.
I like where you're going with this. I would've left tap jump always on to not have a dedicated button just for jump. - B could've be directional Air-dodge/block button. - A+B = Special attacks. - Tap A+ Direction = smash attacks. - Crouching or walking + A = tilts. (Up tilts would be sacrificed for the greater good)
@@pixelbit0897 the gameboy color is very weak (some say it's weaker than the nes) so many sprites in a single screen will mean it has a frame rate in the single digit.
