That is the biggest stink bug I have ever seen. Up here they are up to an inch long and Brown but they have the same markings. Don't smash them they smell awful.
Typo in title should read Rails. These are coyote rollers that prevent animals from jumping over fence. As they grab the top rail, these spin and drop the animal. Keep dogs and cats from climbing over.
