Hi! Please never call me Nathaniel. I typically have a primary game (currently Vampire Survivors) and secondary game (changes week to week) which I am playing. With my primary game, I work to become an expert and really push the limits of what is possible, including speedrunning, leaderboards and extra challenges.
I get annoyed with clickbait thumbnails (open mouth, arrows, sensationalist text) and clickbait titles. What really bothers me is some *good* RU-vidrs do this and it makes me lose respect for them. I'm like "come on, seriously? You make good content, you don't need to make a Mr. Beast type thumbnail to draw viewers", when I see those thumbnails I expect loud, low-quality content where what you came for is buried under a pile of fluff and likely a gigantic sponsor segment in the middle of the video from whoever threw the most money at them.
Honestly I can’t say I believe this was a legit attempt, or at least if it was then the devs must’ve buffed the hell out of Death. I’ve tried this exact strategy all day today at least 20-30+ times and every time it’s been a fail. Not a fail as in I did something wrong, I lived to 30mins almost every single time, the problem is Death doesn’t die in 1 minute like this video shows in my game. I’ve perfectly nailed Death with Runetracer and even got the Jail of Crystal Arcana card to freeze him so much it makes him a joke. Problem is I’ve went over 33mins (close to 34) of just blasting the Death that spawns while I’m still lvl2 with the exact same build used here, and for no reason Death will not die. Again idk if they’ve changed the game since this run but if they haven’t, then this run looks pretty sus compared to what I’m dealing with in the game.
how are you not getting gems from those monsters that get killed right next to you? I have tried countless times and I always level up before the red gem appears and gems stop falling out of the monsters... And after I level up the rune tracer starts acting differently and occassionally it gets out and I get killed
I don’t think it is in the spirit of the challenge to lock any weapons other than the 4 in the line of 6 that were not already locked. Same as you don’t banish the accessories after the first line of 6.
It is weird how hard it starts, and how easy it gets once you unlock sammy the infinite gold worm. Last time I played my Sammy got 250M gold in 15 minutes, and I stopped putting eggs on him at 14.5k for fear of crashing the game. I can't pick up chests because of the cat eye craziness
It took me two years to unlock everything. And I used a cheat code on the uppercut, because I could not do it. By the time the reapers appeared I couldn't see the screen.
I killed reaper on accident recently not even trying to at first... I was doing the sammy kill thing in the forest area, using the chick who spawns snakes? Forget her bame think its genevieve but i actually decided to go for crimson shroud and the lancet upgrades since i had yet to do them i only endes up being able to get crimson shroud as i waited too long to get the rings fully upgraded and ran out of time but using only crimson shroud and i think i had garlic, not even evolved, lancet not evolved and her snakes not evolved. Think only evolved weapon i had was whips. Took me amost 34 min mark to kill them but i killed all three reapers using it. Still didnt get the stupid 6k sammy kills tho, not even in follow up run using red death
Hey, I haven't watched you in like a year, and I'm seeing a lot of new stuff in this video that seem like they could be modded or something, or maybe the new DLCs just added some wild stuff. Where would be a good place to go back to in your kids to hear this stuff being explained? Like, are the Among Us things nodded or DLC? And what do they do?
I literally cannot watch any of Nates videos in 720+. His audience is too small for the videos to get replicated to servers in Europe, and it sucks. Back in the days, YT allowed your browser to buffer when the connection speed was low. They no longer do that. YT wants every watching experience to be a streaming experience, and it sucks.
Is there a mechanic to bloat the pufferfish then destroy the weight holding them down, thus causing the fish to float up and away instead of having to kill them? IT would be cool if it is or becomes one.
Idk, what if you just deboned your turkey and made some kind of McNugget-slurry out of it. Then you pour that into a chair-cast, cook it and let it dry and set. I'd watch a YT video about that.

Great have seen a lot of the possibilities of these strats but just haven’t had it in me to go all in. This is a great motivation to try them knowing it’s possible to do well with them.
I bet that chest that glitched had the items in it that it later wouldn’t let you level, so the game is probably coded to say “player has received x of this item so don’t give them anymore” instead of “players item is at x level so keep giving them more”
Re: why the RT speed change made it escape your hidey-hole. My guess is it gets further before it's collision tested, which makes it more likely to "miss" the obstacle. This is a classic problem in game dev. You really need to move your thing in n small steps and test for collisions on each step, but this is usually not done for performance reasons. This is why games have wall glitches and stuff. Edit: The controller misclicks.:/ I do those all the time. I believe it's the VS UI that's incosistent/janky. You get played by your muscle memory so much.
I still love that Hein cutscene so much, in the early beta hein died against the boss at that point, so when I revisited that cutscene I was very suprised how he just turned the table on the witch boss. Also that last cutscene marathon was alot shorter in that early beta.
it's kinda annoying you have to pick up the fabric arachne gave you after selecting that boon - it looks like it didn't automatically go in your inventory, she just dropped it for you to pick up
